Description

METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR DETERMINING AND AGGREGATING QUALIFIED SUBCARRIERS OF NODE OF FIELD AREA NETWORK TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of communication technologies, and in particular, to methods and apparatuses for determining and aggregating qualified subcarriers of a node of a field area network.
BACKGROUND
[0002] A field area network for power equipments is a new service application, and belongs to a heterogeneous fusion network. A field area network is a self-organized local communication network with an intelligent terminal in a power distribution station as a core to implement backbone nodes such as a power distribution equipment, a switch cabinet, and a branch box, and forms a local communication backbone network in a power distribution station. Electrical information and environment information collected by the power distribution equipment are wirelessly transmitted to the intelligent terminal through a narrow-band power line carrier, to implement a wide interconnection between power distribution equipments, in-depth information collection, and comprehensive perception and data fusion of a power distribution network.
[0003] A power line and wireless fusion networking have been used in meter reading and other marketing services, and the carrier adopts a broadband carrier communication manner with a high communication rate, but the marketing service has occupied a large amount of bandwidth. Therefore, new power distribution services usually adopt a narrow-band carrier and wireless fusion manner. By adopting the narrow-band power line carrier and wireless fusion manner, communication between a distribution network business terminal and a master station tends to be completed in a multi-hop manner, to increase a networking degree of the entire network and increase the diversity of routes connecting two points. However, because a channel of the narrow-band carrier is relatively narrow, how to consider and improve the reliability of a carrier technology in a channel and communication, to provide an effective evaluation parameter and a decision basis for optimal routing selection, is a difficult problem.
[0004] A wide or narrow characteristic of communication of the narrow-band carrier will affect a communication rate and real-time performance of a power line communication network. The reliability of the narrow-band carrier and wireless communication is mainly researched from two directions of physical layer enhancement and network routing. The former mainly focuses on aspects such as a channel characteristic, noise, source and channel encoding, and signal modulation and demodulation manners, and the latter mainly focuses on design and improvement of a multi-level relay routing algorithm.
[0005] Carrier aggregation is usually used in a long term evolution (LTE) system and an LTE-Advanced system and refers to that two or more carriers are aggregated to expand a plurality of discrete or continuous small frequency bands into wider frequency bands for data transmission, so that a standardization process can be accelerated, and an existing LTE equipment and spectrum resources can be utilized to the maximum extent.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0041] Specific implementations of the embodiments of the present disclosure are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the implementations described herein are merely intended to illustrate and interpret the present disclosure, rather than to limit the present disclosure.
[0042] FIG. 1 is flowchart of a method for determining qualified subcarriers of a node of a field area network according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, the method includes the following steps.
[0043] Step Sll. Determine, according to a signal-to-noise ratio of each subcarrier between a first node and each neighbor node and a signal-to-noise ratio threshold, availability of each subcarrier between the first node and each neighbor node.
[0044] For example, a field area network includes a plurality of nodes, and a current first node A is used as an example. The first node A determines connectivity between the first node and a neighbor node by receiving a HELLO message periodically sent by the neighbor node. There are km subcarriers between the first node A and aBath neighbor node. For example, there are ki subcarriers between the first node A and a Bith neighbor node and there are k2 subcarriers between the first node A and aB 2 th neighbor node.
[0045] Preferably, the availability of each subcarrier between the first node and each neighbor node is determined by using the following formula:
1lSNRABk,, >D 0046 aABk O,SNRABk <D
[0047] where aAB,k is availability of a kmth subcarrier between the first node and a Bth neighbor node, SNRAB"A is a signal-to-noise ratio of the kmth subcarrier between the first node and the Bnth neighbor node, and D is a signal-to-noise ratio threshold.
[0048] Step S12. Determine a reliability factor of each subcarrier according to the availability of each subcarrier between the first node and each neighbor node and a time of a message sending period of each neighbor node.
[0049] For example, due to a time variation of a power load, quality of a channel is continuously changed. Therefore, each subcarrier needs to be evaluated, and a reliability factor of each subcarrier is calculated.
[0050] Preferably, the reliability factor of each subcarrier is determined by using the following formula:
S - ° t)dt (ABk
[0051] T
[0052] where SAB, isa reliabilityfactorofakm subcarrier between the first node and a Bth neighbor node, aAB,k, is availability of the kmth subcarrier between the first node and the Bnth neighbor node, and T is a time of a message sending period of the Bnth neighbor node.
[0053] Step S13. Determine a set of the reliability factors of the subcarriers between the first node and each neighbor node.
[0054] For example, a set of reliability factors of the subcarriers between the first node A and the Bith neighbor node may be represented as:
[0055] SlinkAB, {SABK,'SABK 2 '"''SABK
[00561 SinkAB, is the set of the reliability factors of the subcarriers between the first node A and the Bith neighbor node. Sets SlinkAB, SlinkAB, linklAB, ofreliabilityfactorsofsubcarriers between the first node A and other neighbor nodes are similarly represented. Details are not described herein again.
[0057] Step S14. Take an intersection of the set of the reliability factors of the subcarriers between the first node and each neighbor node, to obtain qualified subcarriers of the first node.
[0058] For example, the qualified subcarriers may be represented as: n
SnodeA =SlinkAB
[0059] i=1
[0060] where Snode-A is a set of qualified subcarriers of the first node A, and subcarriers in the set are the qualified subcarriers of the first node A. If S ode isanemptyset,stepsSItoS14 are repeated until Snode-A is not the empty set.
[0061] FIG. 2 is a flowchart of a method for aggregating subcarriers of a field area network according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 2, the method includes the following steps.
[0062] Step S21. Perform the method for determining qualified subcarriers of a node of a field area network.
[0063] For example, qualified subcarriers of nodes may be obtained.
[0064] Step S22. Use, for a plurality of nodes that are neighbor nodes of each other in each group, a node with a largest quantity of qualified subcarriers as a cluster head node to complete clustering.
[0065] For example, in the present disclosure, subcarriers in a plurality of power line channels are directly aggregated in a base station-free manner to implement direct communication between nodes. At an initialization stage of a PLC network, all neighbor nodes notify each other of Vnode values (that is, a quantity of qualified subcarriers) by using HELLO messages, and a node with a largest Vnode value is selected as a cluster head through interaction between the nodes and comparison between the Vnode values. By analogy, all the nodes in the network are divided into a plurality of clusters, and cluster head nodes control member nodes in the clusters to perform carrier aggregation.
[0066] Step S23. The cluster head node controls the plurality of nodes that are neighbor nodes of each other to perform carrier aggregation by using the qualified subcarriers of the cluster head node.
[0067] For example, the first node A is a cluster head node, and {M1, M2, ..., and Mn} are member nodes. The cluster head node A selects a qualified subcarrier set Scluster suitable for all nodes in the cluster by using the method described above. Subsequently, the cluster head node A notifies all the nodes in the cluster of the qualified subcarrier set Scluster, and aggregation is uniformly performed on subcarriers in Scluster in the cluster.
[0068] FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B are schematic diagrams of a digital circuit for implementing carrier aggregation according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 3A is a sending circuit of carrier aggregation. Each processing branch corresponds to generation of a component carrier. To combine a plurality of paths of data into one path, after completing baseband processing, a subcarrier component performs digital to analog conversion, and finally generates a sending signal through path combination and sends the sending signal out by using a coupling circuit in a front end of the carrier. A part of a baseband processor includes: Turbo convolution encoding, channel interleaving, modulation, inverse fast fourier transform (IFFT), a cyclic prefix, and a window.
[0069] FIG. 3B is a receiving circuit of carrier aggregation. A receiver implements signal extraction through pulse noise removal, digital front-end, the baseband processor, and the like after receiving a signal.
[0070] In addition, due to multi-variability of quality of a power line carrier channel, a used qualified subcarrier set needs to be updated in time, to deal with a change of a channel condition. The present disclosure provides four system updating manners for power line carrier aggregation as follows:
[0071] The cluster head node performs carrier aggregation reconstruction on the plurality of nodes that are neighbor nodes of each other in a first preset period or when it is detected that a communication success rate is less than a threshold; or a center node performs clustering and carrier aggregation reconstruction on nodes of the field area network in a second preset period or when it is detected that a communication success rate is less than a threshold.
[0072] FIG. 4 is a structural block diagram of an apparatus for determining qualified subcarriers of a node of a field area network according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 4, the apparatus includes: an availability determining unit 1, a reliability factor determining unit 2, a set determining unit 3, and an intersection determining unit 4. The availability determining unit 1 is configured to determine, according to a signal-to-noise ratio of each subcarrier between a first node and each neighbor node and a signal-to-noise ratio threshold, availability of each subcarrier between the first node and each neighbor node; the reliability factor determining unit 2 is configured to determine a reliability factor of each subcarrier according to the availability of each subcarrier between the first node and each neighbor node and a time of a message sending period of each neighbor node; the set determining unit 3 is configured to determine a set of the reliability factors of the subcarriers between the first node and each neighbor node; and the intersection determining unit 4 is configured to take an intersection of the set of the reliability factors of the subcarriers between the first node and each neighbor node, to obtain qualified subcarriers of the first node.
[0073] Preferably, the availability of each subcarrier between the first node and each neighbor node is determined by using the following formula:
r ,SNR Bk,, >D aABk"' 0 SNR <D 100741 >OS _ABuk
[0075] where aABk is availability of a kmth subcarrier between the first node and a Bth SNRABk,, issgh1t neighbor node, is a signal-to-noise ratio of the kmth subcarrier between the first node and the Bnth neighbor node, and D is a signal-to-noise ratio threshold.
[0076] Preferably, the reliability factor of each subcarrier is determined by using the following formula:
- ABk t)dt SABk
[0077] A' T
[0078] where SAB, isma reliabilityfactorofakmsubcarrier between the first node and a Bth neighbor node, aAB,k, is availability of the kmth subcarrier between the first node and the Bnth neighbor node, and T is a time of a message sending period of the Bnth neighbor node.
[0079] FIG. 5 is a structural block diagram of an apparatus for aggregating subcarriers of a field area network according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 5, the apparatus includes: the apparatus 5 for determining a qualified subcarrier of a node of a field area network described above; a clustering unit 6, configured to use, for a plurality of nodes that are neighbor nodes of each other in each group, a node with a largest quantity of qualified subcarriers as a cluster head node to complete clustering; and a carrier aggregation unit 7, configured to control, by the cluster head node, the plurality of nodes that are neighbor nodes of each other to perform carrier aggregation by using the qualified subcarriers of the cluster head node.
[0080] Preferably, the carrier aggregation unit 7 is further configured to perform, by the cluster head node, carrier aggregation reconstruction on the plurality of nodes that are neighbor nodes of each other in a first preset period or when it is detected that a communication success rate is less than a threshold; or the clustering unit 6 is further configured to perform, by a center node of a concentrator, clustering on nodes of the field area network in a second preset period or when it is detected that a communication success rate is less than a threshold; and the carrier aggregation unit 7 is further configured to perform, by the center node of the concentrator, carrier aggregation reconstruction on the nodes of the field area network in the second preset period or when it is detected that the communication success rate is less than the threshold.
