Abstract

A building (1) comprises a hipped roof (2), an erected part (31), and a water guide body (4). The hipped roof (2) has a first roof part (21), a second roof part (22), and a corner ridge part (23) that is provided at a boundary portion between the first roof part (21) and the second roof part (22) and that projects upward from a roof upper surface (2121) of the first roof part (21). The erected part (31) is erected on the first roof part (21) and has a side surface that extends from a part of the corner ridge part (23) lower than a main ridge part (24) to the opposite side from the second roof part (22) and that faces the main ridge part (24) side. The water guide body (4) is provided across the first roof part (21) and the side surface of the erected part (31) so as to guide, laterally of the erected part (31), water that flows along the first roof part (21). The water guide body (4) is connected to the corner ridge part (23) and has a shape that restricts accumulation of water in a region between the corner ridge part (23), the first roof part (21), and the erected part (31).

[0002] For example, a building including a hipped roof having a plurality of roof parts and an erected part such as an outer wall erected on the roof parts has been conventionally known as disclosed in Patent Literature 1. This type of a building requires a structure to be installed in a boundary part between the roof parts and the erected part to prevent entry of water such as rainwater from the boundary part toward the erected part.
[0003] Patent Literature 1 discloses a technique in which a boundary part between the roof parts and the erected part is positioned at the top of the roof parts, and a structure including a flashing cover and the like is installed at the boundary part. The boundary part between the roof parts and the erected part is positioned at the top of the roof parts in this case, so that water around the boundary part flows down along the roof parts via the flashing cover.
[0004] Meanwhile, a hipped roof includes a ridge beam constituting the top of the hipped roof, and a protrusion such as a hip provided extending downward from the ridge beam and protruding upward from an upper surface of roof parts. Then, a boundary part between the roof parts and an erected part may be positioned below the ridge beam and intersect the protrusion. This structure allows water on the roof parts to flow along the roof parts toward the boundary part between the roof parts and the erected part. [0006] The present invention has been made in light of the above-mentioned circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a building capable of suppressing accumulation of water flowing along a roof part in a region between the roof part, an erected part, and a protrusion.

[0010] Hereinafter, a building according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 6, a building 1 according to the present embodiment has a structure in which a building body including a hipped roof 2 and a building body including an outer wall part 3 connected to the hipped roof 2 are connected to each other in a horizontal direction. The building 1 further includes a water guide body 4 that guides water such as rainwater flowing along the hipped roof 2 toward a lateral side of an outer wall part 3.
[0012] <Hipped roof> The hipped roof 2 includes a first roof part 21 and a second roof part 22 that are adjacent to each other in the horizontal direction, a hip 23, and a ridge beam 24. The ridge beam 24 extends horizontally at the top of the hipped roof 2. The ridge beam 24 constitutes an uppermost part of the first roof part 21.
[0013] The first roof part 21 and the second roof part 22 incline downward with respect to the ridge beam 24. The first roof part 21 includes a first roof board 211 inclining downward with respect to the ridge beam 24, a roofing material 71 for covering an upper surface of the first roof board 211 to waterproof the first roof board 211, and a first base tile 212 provided and hooked on a first batten seam 213 above the roofing material 71. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the first base tile 212 is fixed to the first roof board 211 by a fixing member 8 such as a nail. [0014] The hip 23 is provided at a boundary part between the first roof part 21 and the second roof part 22 while extending downward from the ridge beam 24. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the hip 23 is an example of a protrusion protruding upward from a roof upper surface 2121 of the first roof part 21, the roof upper surface 2121 being constituted of an upper surface of the first base tile 212. The protrusion is not limited to the hip 23 as long as the protrusion protrudes upward from roof upper surface 2121 of the first roof part 21.

Water on the first roof part 21 inclining downward with respect to the ridge beam 24 flows along the roof upper surface 2121 toward the first wall 311 of the erected part 31 erected on the first roof part 21. The water guide body 4 is provided over the first roof part 21 and the side surface 311A of the first wall 311 to guide the water flowing along the roof upper surface 2121 of the first roof part 21 to a lateral side of the first wall 311.

[0024] As illustrated in FIG. 5, the covering plate 410 in the present embodiment includes the roof connection edge 411 and the wall connection edge 412 that are positioned at an equal height in a sectional view taken along a plane orthogonal to the side surface 311A of the first wall 311 and the horizontal direction. That is, the upper surface 41A of the covering plate 410 is orthogonal to the side surface 311A of the first wall 311. The water receiving surface 4211 of the water receiver 421 inclines downward with distance from the hip 23. This structure enables water received by the water receiving surface 4211 to flow away from the hip 23. Thus, accumulation of water in a region between the hip 23, the first roof part 21, and the side surface 311A of the first wall 311 can be more reliably suppressed.
[0031] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the water receiving roof side end edge 4212 extends from the hip 23 to the other end of the side surface 311 A in the horizontal direction of the first wall 311 in a plan view in which the water receiver 421 is viewed from vertically above, as with the roof connection edge 411 of the covering plate 410. The water receiving roof side end edge 4212 also inclines downward with distance from the hip 23 in a front view in which the water receiver 421 is viewed from a direction orthogonal to the side surface 311A of the first wall 311, as with the roof connection edge 411 of the covering plate 410. This structure enables water having flowed along the first roof part 21 and having reached the water receiving roof side end edge 4212 of the water receiver 421 to flow away from the hip 23 along the water receiving roof side end edge 4212. The hip 23 includes the hip tile 232 with a cutout 2321 (FIG. 8) provided at a position closer to the first roof part 21 than an attachment position (ridge axis 23A) to the hip base 231, the cutout 2321 allowing a space for receiving the water receiving hip side end edge 4213 of the water receiver 421 to be formed. This structure enables the water guide body 4 to be disposed adjacent to the hip 23 while the first roof part 21 is covered with the hip tile 232 in a region other than a region where the water guide body 4 is provided. The cutout 2321 of the hip tile 232 has a shape acquired by cutting out the hip tile 232 other than a core part positioned on the ridge axis 23A. The water receiving hip side end edge 4213 of the water receiver 421, the hip side end edge 413 of the covering plate 410, and the specific support plate 414A are each positioned at a position closer to the first roof part 21 than the ridge axis 23A of the hip 23, so that using the hip tile 232 with the cutout 2321 allows the water guide base 41 and the water receiver 421 to be received by the cutout 2321. This structure enables preventing the hip tile 232 from being divided by the water guide body 4, so that the hip tile 232 can be provided over the entire boundary part between the first roof part 21 and the second roof part 22.
[0034] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the eaves guide part 422 is a part of the water guide plate 42, the part extending from a section corresponding to the other end of the side surface 311A in the horizontal direction of the first wall 311 in the water receiver 421 to eaves of the first roof part 21 along the second wall 312B. [0036] As illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 7, the hip covering part 424 is a part in the water guide plate 42, the part being configured to cover the hip base 231. The hip covering part 424 includes a suspended section 4241 extending downward from a region above the hip base 231 at the water receiving hip side end edge 4213 of the water receiver 421 and covering the specific support plate 414A from a lateral side, and a covering section 4242 extending in the horizontal direction from a lower end of the suspended section 4241. Claims (5)

  1. Claims Claim 1. A building comprising: a hipped roof including a first roof part and a second roof part adjacent to each other in a horizontal direction, and a protrusion provided at a boundary part between the first roof part and the second roof part, the protrusion protruding upward from an upper surface of the first roof part; an erected part erected on the first roof part, the erected part having a side surface extending from a part of the protrusion toward a side opposite to the second roof part, the part being below an uppermost part of the first roof part, and the side surface facing the uppermost part of the first roof part; and a water guide body provided over the first roof part and the side surface of the erected part to guide water flowing along the first roof part toward a lateral side of the erected part, wherein the water guide body is connected to the protrusion and has a shape for restricting accumulation of water in a region between the protrusion, the first roof part, and the erected part.
  2. Claim 2. The building according to claim 1, wherein the water guide body includes a water receiving surface that faces upward and receives water flowing along the first roof part, and the water receiving surface inclines downward with distance from the protrusion.
  3. Claim 3. The building according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the water guide body includes a connection edge connected to the first roof part, the connection edge inclining downward with distance from the protrusion.
  4. Claim 4. The building according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the protrusion includes a protrusion body provided at the boundary part between the first roof part and the second roof part, and a covering member attached to an upper surface of the protrusion body while covering the protrusion body and the first roof part from above, and the covering member includes a cutout provided at a position closer to the first roof part than an attachment position to the protrusion body so as to allow a space for receiving an end part of the water guide body to be formed, the end part being close to the protrusion.
  5. Claim 5. The building according to claim 4, wherein the water guide body includes a covering part provided to cover the protrusion body from above and vertically overlap the covering member.
