Abstract
SNOW FREE ROOF
The present invention relates to a system of making roof (1) free from snow which
consists of a wooden/ RCC sloppy slab (2), ceramic grooved strip (3), heating filaments
(4), detachable metallic/Teflon sheet (5), wire connection (6) and control system (7). In
the present disclosure, the top slab of housing is made of RCC or wood (2) and is given
slope and as the snow falls over the roof top, the temperature in the coils start increasing
due to heating effect of electricity by wire connection (6). Here, the heated Teflon sheet
(5) starts melting the lower thin portion of the snow and automatically the whole slab
slides down under gravity which prevents the roof from damaging over load.

[01] The present invention relates to the field of removing snow in snow covered regions, more particularly, related to a snow free roof
[02] In hilly and cold areas where heavy snowfall occurs; tones of ice deposits over the sloppy roofs of housing which not only damages the roof but also consumes lot of labor efforts to be cut and removed. By solar heating it takes long time to melt from top to bottom and then it come to an end and meanwhile new deposition of snow continues.
[03] When these snow loaded roofs lose their capacity of bearing the overload, usually fail and accidents occur in hilly and cold regions.
[04] The invention "Snow Free Roofs" addresses the above issues and consuming a minimum electricity melts a very thin bottom layer hardly 1 mm in water then whole of the snow over it slips down under gravity getting detachment from roof due to melting of ice. It not only takes minimum time and effort but also saves our homes from accidents.
[051 CN202466501U relates to a snow throwing machine, which comprises a machine body, a snow shoveling mechanism, a snow throwing arm, a rotary barrel mechanism, a diesel engine and a drive sprocket mechanism, wherein the snow shoveling mechanism is arranged on the front part of the machine body. However, this invention is quite different from the disclosed invention.

[09] The present invention addresses the above shortcomings of the prior art. However, the present invention is entirely different from the prior art in terms of novelty and technological advancement.

The present invention contains the ceramic grooved strips (3) placed on the roof (1) and the heating elements (4) placed in the ceramic grooves (3). Here, the heated Teflon sheet (5) starts melting the lower thin portion of the snow and automatically melting the whole slab.

The invention discloses a device in which the heating elements (4) are placed in the ceramic grooves and the elements are connected together. Here, the temperature is controlled by the control system (7).

Claims (6)
1. A system of making roof (1) free from snow which consists of a) a wooden/ RCC sloppy slab (2); b) ceramic grooved strip (3); c) heating filaments/ elements (4); d) a detachable metallic / Teflon sheet (5); e) wire connection (6); and f) control system (7).
2. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the top slab of housing is made of RCC or wood (2) and is given slope so as to make snow to flow down the roof (1).
3. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the ceramic grooved strips (3) are placed on the roof (1) and the heating elements (4) are placed in the ceramic grooves (3).
4. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the heating elements (4) are connected together and the temperature of the heating elements is controlled by the control system (7).
5. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein as the snow falls over the roof top, the temperature in the coils start increasing due to heating effect of electricity by wire connection (6).
6. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the heated Teflon sheet (5) starts melting the lower thin portion of the snow and automatically the whole slab slides down under gravity which prevents the roof from damaging over load.
