Abstract
A process for preventing the spread of diseases in ambient air and promoting people's respiratory health,
the process comprising (1) obtaining water at a boiling point near 100 degrees Celsius; (II) releasing the oil
from the eucalyptus leaves by adding them to the hot water of step I and waiting around 20 minutes for the
oil and water to combine into a single liquid named "eucalyptus in liquid state"; (111) removing the leaves
from eucalyptus in liquid state of step 11 and allow to cool to about 20 degrees Celsius; (IV) using the
eucalyptus in liquid state of step Ill as fuel for a standard industrial, mobile, and ultrasonic humidifier; (V)
starting the humidifier of step IV to expel eucalyptus in gaseous state and reach a relative humidity of 50
75%; and (VI) turn off the machine.
Description
AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990
Eucalyptus oil in gaseous state as a powerful antiviral agent The following statement is a full description of this innovation patent, including the best process of performing it known to me
During the history of humanity, human beings have been victims of numerous diseases
caused by microbes, viruses, and bacteria. This innovation patent consists of combining
eucalyptus oil in the humification process to then use the medicinal properties of this
combination to prevent the spread of diseases in air and promote people's respiratory health.
The process of this innovation consists of using humidifiers with the purpose of changing the
eucalyptus oil from a liquid to a gaseous state to spread the oil particles in the air through the
humidity. The result of this process causes the air viral load to be significantly reduced,
making the air clearer of pathogens and safer to breathe. Also is inhaled through the nasal
passages to reduce inflammation of the respiratory tract, kill existing pathogenic
microorganisms and as an expectorant for pulmonary secretions.
The steps in this process of Eucalyptus oil in gaseous state as a powerful antiviral agent will
be described and numbered below.
Part one is to Obtain the eucalyptus in liquid state by extracting the oil from the eucalyptus
leaves with hot water.
I. Bring water to a boil (100 degrees Celsius) in a container.
II. Add the Eucalyptus leaves to hot water and wait twenty minutes for the essential oil
to release and combine with the hot water as a single liquid
III. Remove the leaves from the container and cool the liquid.
An inventive step of the process is to use the hot water to extract the oil from the
leaves, uniting the water and the oil in a single compound creating eucalyptus in a
liquid state, which will later be used as a humidifier feed liquid to finally obtain the
eucalyptus in a gaseous state.
Part two generate the eucalyptus in the gaseous state by inserting in the humidifier the
eucalyptus in the liquid state obtained in the previous step.
IV. Use the liquid obtained in the previous step as fuel for the humidifier. An ultrasonic
humidifier will produce tiny drops of water with a size of between 1 and 3 microns
through extremely high frequency vibrations (1.7MHz) of piezoelectric transducers,
generating a mist to provide the desired humidity conditions in the area where it is
used without risk of condensation.
V. Start the machine and wait for the humidity of the environment to reach a relative
humidity of between 50% and 75%.
Another inventive step of the innovation are steps IV and V, and it has to do with the
characteristics technical of the humidifiers and the use that I give them with
eucalyptus in liquid state. The technical characteristics of the humidifier should be an
industrial standard, mobile, and ultrasonic. As the humidifier is industrial, it can expel
the eucalyptus in an extremely fast way, at approximately 12 litres per hour and reach
the relative humidity level faster. The industrial level humidifier is also mobile, so it
can be easily transported, and being ultrasonic it does not affect the properties of the
liquid.
VI. On completion turn off the machine.
The useful benefits of spreading eucalyptus in a liquid state through the humification process
consists in cleaning and disinfecting the air of the environment of pathogenic agents due to
the antiseptic properties of the oil. Also, the increase in humidity in the air causes the viral
load to decrease significantly compared to the viral load in dry air.
Another benefit of using the oil in a gaseous state is its possibility of inhalation through the
nostrils. This inhalation process helps people receive the medicinal properties of eucalyptus
oil which include:
- Anti-inflammatory, it reduces inflammation and facilitates breathing.
- Antimicrobial, antiviral and antibacterial. It kills microorganisms that are the cause of
infectious processes in the respiratory tract such as bronchitis, sinusitis, and tracheitis.
- Expectorants, this component is a powerful mucolytic that fluidizes pulmonary
secretions and help their expulsion. In turn, it is antitussive and an inhibitor of
bronchial irritation, which is why its application is recommended in diseases such as
acute and chronic bronchitis. Its expectorant properties come from the eucalyptus
leaves. They are highly fragrant and rich in an essential oil whose main component is
eucalyptol.
During the history of humanity, humans have been victims of numerous diseases through
microbes, viruses, and bacteria. Now you know how "Eucalyptus oil in gaseous state as a
powerful antiviral agent" prevent the spread of diseases in air and promote people's
respiratory health.
