ALARM BUZZER FOR BABY FALL PROTECTOR BED
[0001] The present invention relates to a system for monitoring and early warning generating, more specifically to a kind of an anti-fall system for monitoring and alter generating.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] In today's fast-growing life, parents are busy with their works. Due to the busy schedule, parents are unable to always present around their child. With the rising age of the child of 3 months- 3 years old, the ability of the child like climbing and frolicking around the platform-like bed also increases. There may be a chance of a falling accident will occur when the baby wanders around the platform while sleeping or playing alone. The fall accident may be cause danger for the life of the baby or maybe causes damage to the body parts of the baby.
[0003] prevent the baby from such type of falling accident, the parents use the safety bed rails system. The safety bed rails comprise a fixed metal frame that acts as a barrier to prevent the child from falling off the bed while sleeping or playing alone. These frames are fully covered from all three sides of the bed. So, whenever anybody accesses baby, they have to remove the panel first.
[0004] The above-mentioned conventional system occupies a large space, limits the activity area of the baby, the platform rails also injure the baby while playing or moving. When the baby falls from the gap of the guard circle, the conventional system fails to generate a forewarning alert system. The three-sided frames use in the conventional system also increase complication and manual effort of the parents while removing it.
[0005] Therefore, there remains a need in the art for an anti-fall system for monitoring and alter generating, that does not suffer from above mentioned deficiencies or at least provides a viable and effective solution

Further, some components that may form a part of the invention may not be illustrated in certain figures, for ease of illustration, and such omissions do not limit the embodiments outlined in any way. It should be understood that the drawings and detailed description thereto are not intended to limit the invention to the particular form disclosed, but on the contrary, the invention is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claim. As used throughout this description, the word "may" is 20 used in a permissive sense (i.e. meaning having the potential to), rather than the mandatory sense, (i.e. meaning must). Further, the words "a" or "an" mean ''at least one" and the word "plurality" means "one or more" unless otherwise mentioned.
Furthermore, the terminology and phraseology used herein is solely used for descriptive purposes and should not be construed 25 as limiting in scope. Language such as "including," "comprising," "having," "containing," or "involving," and variations thereof, is intended to be broad and encompass the subject matter listed thereafter, equivalents, and additional subject matter not recited, and is not intended to exclude other additives, components, integers or steps. Likewise, the term "comprising" is 9 considered synonymous with the terms "including" or "containing" for applicable legal purposes.
[00019] Figure 1 illustrates an anti-fall system (100) for monitoring and alerts generating in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The system (100) comprises a platform (102). As shown in fig. 1, the platform (102) comprises one or more sensors (104), a safe boundary (108), an alerting module, an actuator unit, and a plurality of rails (106). The one or more sensors (104) maybe, but are not limited to a temperature sensor, a proximity sensor, a passive infrared (PIR), microwave, dual Tech/hybrid sensor. The one or more sensors (104) are operationally connected with the platform (102) which is 2 feet away from the safe boundary (108) as shown in fig. 1. The safe boundary (108) is designed to provide a safe zone.
[00020] Further, the one or more sensors (104) are connected with the alerting module. The alerting module maybe, but is not limited to a sound generator, flashing light. The alerting module is configured to receive conditional information by the one or more sensors (104) and accordingly generate an alert signal. The conditional information includes activities performed by human body like infants. The conditional information may be but limited to wandering, playing, climbing, and frolicking around the platform (102). The alerting module and one or more sensors (104) are operatively connected with the actuator unit. The alerting module is configured to receive conditional information generated by one or more sensors (104) and accordingly generates an up and down movement command. The actuator unit is operatively connected with the plurality of rails (106). The one or more sensors (104) and a plurality of rails (106) are fitted around the platform (102) to implement the alerting module. The plurality of rails (106) is configured to receive the generated up and down movement command by the actuator. The plurality of rail is configured to rise up or down to create anti-fall obstruct in accordance with the received command.
[00021] Further, the safe boundary (108) direct the function of the one or more sensors, alerting module, actuating module and plurality of rail. For example - when infant play or sleep within the safe boundary (108) at that time the plurality of rail are in the down position. Whenever the infant create any movement or move outside of the safe boundary (108), the distance between the one or more sensor is decreased. As result of decreased distance, one or more sensors (104) detect the conditional information due to which the system (100) raises alarm and sends signal to the actuator unit to raise the plurality of rails (106) around the platform as shown in fig. 1.
[00022] The system (100) further comprises an image capturing unit and a display unit (not shown in figure. 1). The platform (102), image capturing unit, and display unit are connected with each other with help of communication network. The communication network may be wired or wireless, but not limited to radiofrequency, WIFI network, or satellite communication network providing maximum coverage. The image capturing unit is configured to capture visuals around the platform (102). The display unit is configured to receive the captured image by the image capturing unit and display the image for live monitoring. Further, the display unit is also configured to display the alert signal received by the alert module.
[00023] Fig 2: illustrates a pictorial representation of the implementation of an anti fall system (100) being used for generating alerts and raising the plurality of rails (106) up around the platform, when human body like infant go out of safety boundaries, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.
[00024] In one embodiment, the system (100) comprises a non-contactable passive infrared (PIR) sensor (104). When the human body like infant- cross the safe boundary (108), the PIR sensor (104) detects the movement of the body with help of the infrared radiation emitted by the human body. The PIR sensor (105) sends the detected information to the alerting module to generate the alert signal and to the actuator to activate the anti fall system (100) by raising the plurality of rails (106) around the open sides of the platform (102) as shown in fig. 2. Once the human body move inside the safe boundary (108) or out of range of the PIR sensor (104), the plurality of rails (106) move to and from and stop at a position. Whenever the one or more sensors (104) detect the presence of the human body like infant (as shown in fig 1 &fig 2), it activates the anti-fall system (100). In this way, the plurality of rails (106) is always in the obstructing position of the human body. The quick response of the system (100) prevents the fall from the platform (102) (as shown in fig. 1)
[00025] The present invention offers a number of advantages. Firstly, the present invention provides an automated anti-fall platform system (100) for monitoring and alerts generating that prevents human body like-infants from accident or injury. The system (100) occupies less space, easily and quickly operates, requires less manual effort. The present invention provides effective solution over the existing prior arts.
[00026] While considerable emphasis has been placed herein on the specific features of the preferred embodiment, it will be appreciated that many additional features can be added and that many changes can be made in the preferred embodiment without departing from the principles of the disclosure. These and other changes in the preferred embodiment of the disclosure will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the disclosure herein, whereby it is to be distinctly understood that the foregoing descriptive matter is to be interpreted merely as illustrative of the disclosure and not as a limitation
