Abstract

The present invention provides a personal health management system based on image recognition and big data, and relates to the technical field of image processing and machine learning. The system integrates mobile platform, cell phone plug-in, big data, cloud computing and medical system, and combines the respective advantages of traditional Chinese and Western medicine to realize the scientific, standardized and programmed personal health management. It also transforms the traditional medical model, which focuses on disease treatment, into health management, so that medical services can smoothly transition from passive treatment and after-the-fact treatment to active management and health care prevention, which can reach every family and individual and effectively connect with medical institutions. It can be used anytime and anywhere, and update health records in real time, with the advantages of comprehensive science, information and entertainment as well as low cost, high traffic and high efficiency.

Description

Personal health management system based on image recognition and big
data
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to the technical field of image processing and
machine learning, and specifically to a personal health management system based on
image recognition and big data.
BACKGROUND
With the widespread use of cell phones, a variety of health-related applications
have emerged, but these applications are largely based on Western medicine, and the
treasure of Chinese medicine has not yet flourished on the mobile platform. Chinese
civilization has a long history and a long history of origins, the traditional Chinese
medicine has been handed down along with the development of history and has
formed a solid theoretical foundation of Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese
Medicine (TCM) is about understanding and systematically grasping information
related to diseases, so as to guide clinical treatment and health care. The diagnostic

population and limited resources for quality TCM doctors, the traditional mode of
operation for TCM is not conducive to reaching the public more generally.
For example, tongue diagnosis is an important part of observation diagnosis and
an effective means for doctors to understand the pathological changes in the patient's
body by observing the tongue. According to traditional Chinese medicine theory, the
tongue is a mirror of the internal physiological condition of the body and can reflect
the internal changes of the five internal organs of the human body in a comprehensive
and flexible manner, which makes tongue diagnosis one of the important bases of
Chinese medicine diagnosis. In fact, the West has also found that the tongue can
reflect the health condition. As early as the 1970s, the British used a three-color scale
to examine the tongue of patients to identify whether the tongue was normal or not,
and they determined that any tongue with blue color was abnormal. Tongue diagnosis
has always been an analytical judgment through the doctor's visual observation, and
the condition is summarized in a condensed language, lacking a quantitative and
objective measurement. In addition, tongue diagnosis is susceptible to the influence of
external conditions (e.g., light, angle, etc.) and the interference of human factors (e.g.,
knowledge level, clinical diagnostic experience, etc.) in the diagnostic process, which
have limited the development and modernization of tongue diagnosis in application.
In recent years, with the continuous development of modernization of TCM, there is a
constant new demand for quantification and objectification of tongue diagnosis. The
study of tongue objective has been developed since the 1990s, and many valuable
explorations have been done for tongue feature extraction and tongue analysis,
including the extraction of textural features, color features, and shape features of the
tongue. However, there is no system or platform in the prior art that relies on modem information technology, especially high-end image processing and machine learning methods, to study the principles of tongue image and make it more scientific, concrete and practical.
SUMMARY
In response to the above technical problems, the present invention provides a
personal health management system based on image recognition and big data, which
integrates a mobile platform, cell phone plug-in, big data, cloud computing and
medical system. Combining the respective advantages of traditional Chinese and
Western medicine, it realizes the scientific, standardized and programmed personal
health management, and transforms the traditional medical model, which focuses on
disease rescue and treatment, into health management. Smooth transition of medical
services from reactive treatment and aftercare to active management and health care
prevention.
To achieve the above purpose, the present invention provides the following
technical solution.
A personal health management system based on image recognition and big data,
comprising:
A data collection module for collecting data related to personal health
information;
A base database for storing the base data related to the personal health
information;
A data feature extraction and comparative analysis module for extracting features from data collected by the data acquisition module and comparing the extracted features with the data in the base database for analysis.
Result output module for outputting health degree judgment results and
corresponding recommendations based on the results of comparative analysis of data
feature extraction and comparative analysis module.
Integrated control module for managing the components in the system and
controlling their information interaction with each other.
As an optional way, in the above personal health management system, the data is
one or more of image, video, and text.

tongue data. Further, the user simply takes a picture of the tongue with a smartphone
and the system can determine the health level by comparative analysis. Currently, the
main health condition of the human body is described by the "evidence" in Chinese
medicine, which is a holistic concept in traditional Chinese medicine theory,
expressing the overall state of the human body. Cold and hot symptoms are the two
key states of the symptoms and therefore become the key of the system's evaluation to
determine a person's health. The system performs image segmentation techniques on
the tongue images obtained from cell phone photos to extract the required tongue
images, and then further processes them to extract the information of the tongue part,
followed by digital transformation, feature extraction and dimensionality reduction,
classification prediction and model evaluation with machine learning. These include
normal control group samples, as well as evidence group samples identified by physicians, and within the evidence group samples, hot and cold samples are included.
The diagnostic analysis of the tongue is a preliminary screening to make a
determination of cold and hot evidence, and the system then gives appropriate advice
on health care, lifestyle and dietary choices.
As an optional way, in the above personal health management system, the data
also includes tongue pulse, lip color, face, hand lines, nails, skin, body temperature,
pulse, blood pressure, blood lipids, blood sugar, ECG related data, through the
collection of a variety of data to extend the system lookout function, so as to give a
more comprehensive and accurate judgment and reasonable advice on the degree of
health. For example, the early warning of cardiovascular diseases based on the tongue
veins and lip color, the indication of health conditions from facial changes, and the
judgment and early warning of diseases based on specific changes of hand lines, nails
and skin, to obtain a quantitative health assessment system of TCM with more
comprehensive information.
As an optional way, in the personal health management system described above,
the data acquisition module comprises a camera and/or a video camera. As an optional

management history database for different users and realize long-term recording,
monitoring and comparison of users' health conditions. By using the system multiple
times with the same user, it is possible to better model the corresponding health data,
reduce the interference of various random errors, and more accurately detect subtle
but medically significant changes in health data, thereby more effectively monitoring
changes in the body or recovery after treatment.
As an optional way, in the above personal health management system, it also
includes a diet recommendation system. The user can scan the QR code through this
system to get the restaurant's menu information, and this system automatically recommends the selection or side dishes according to the comprehensive personal health condition. This system not only provides health status evaluation and related diet recommendation (dietary therapy) based on health information related data/questionnaire personalized physique (hot and cold, deficiency and actuality), but also can reasonably match the order according to the principle of Chinese medicine health, season, etc., which includes individual order or consider the health status of all the people gathering for a comprehensive meal. Further, it can also be connected to a food logistics monitoring and tracking system to enhance food safety by scanning the food barcode to know the origin, type (organic, GMO, etc.), and time of the food.
Further, the system also includes a diet calorie monitoring module to help effective
weight loss, including automatic calorie estimation based on recipes or photos of
dishes, as well as guiding and monitoring the user's diet according to the diet plan
selected by the user (such as the DASH guidelines recommended by the U.S.
Department of Health or the "light cutting" diet that is becoming popular). Further, the
present system includes an exercise and diet monitoring module. Further, the present
system includes an individual/group game module where users compete with each
other through games to promote weight loss and health. As an optional way, in the
personal health management system mentioned above, it is also compatible with
various kinds of exercise software connection, by setting and achieving fitness goals,
communication with friends and doctors, learning and other functions. As an optional
way, the above personal health management system also includes a health
management big data system, forming a personalized medical cloud platform information system that integrates all data into one, realizing automatic health monitoring, health guidance, medical consultation, providing customers with a full range of health-related information (diet, exercise, medication, etc.), complete health testing, prevention programs and related health knowledge. Western medicine to establish a good lifestyle, prevent and control subhealth,
real-time warning and personalized health recommendation functions (diet, sleep,
exercise, hygiene, smoking, drinking, etc.) to make users sensitive to changes in
physical and mental status, enhance health care awareness, prevent overwork and
other problems, and according to health status monitoring, recommending timely
medical treatment and preventing treatment delays.
As an option, in the personal health management system mentioned above, it is
also possible to connect to health insurance and payment systems to facilitate user
payments.
The present invention also provides a method of using the aforementioned
personal health management system by deploying the personal health management
system on a smartphone, a tablet mobile platform or a personal computer, thereby making it available to everyone and keeping them informed of their own physical condition at all times and anywhere.

diagnostic tongue analysis is an initial screening to make a determination of cold and
hot symptoms, and the tongue system then gives appropriate advice on health care,
lifestyle and dietary choices.
The basic database includes the basic data corresponding to different health
states, such as the tongue pictures corresponding to the normal state, the tongue pictures corresponding to the cold state and the tongue pictures corresponding to the hot state. tongue with little fluid and less moss or red and yellowish moss, long and thin body or
fat.
Diet and health: One should eat less spicy and dry, hot and tonic products, such
as onion, ginger, garlic, chili, beef and mutton, venison, wine, etc. It is advisable to eat more cold nature of the food, specifically including:

The data feature extraction and comparison analysis module compares the tongue data obtained by the data collection module with the characteristics of different types of tongue data in the basic database after feature extraction (and also compares the information obtained by the Q&A module with the main manifestations of different body types), and the result output module derives the judgment of cold and heat symptoms based on the comparison results, outputs the judgment results and health care and treatment suggestions.
As an optional way, in the above personal health management system, the data
also includes tongue veins, lip color, face, hand lines, nails, skin, body temperature,
pulse, blood pressure, blood lipids, blood sugar, ECG related data, through the
collection of a variety of data to extend the system lookout function, so as to give a
more comprehensive and accurate judgment and reasonable advice on the degree of
health. For example, the early warning of cardiovascular diseases based on the tongue
veins and lip color, the indication of health conditions from facial changes, and the
judgment and early warning of diseases based on specific changes of hand lines, nails
and skin, to obtain a quantitative health assessment system of TCM with more
comprehensive information.

the data acquisition module comprises a camera and/or a video camera. As an optional

Further, it can also be connected to a food logistics monitoring and tracking system to enhance food safety by scanning the food barcode to know the origin, type (organic, GMO, etc.), and time of the food.
Further, the system also includes a diet calorie monitoring module to help effective
weight loss, including automatic calorie estimation based on recipes or photos of
dishes, guiding and monitoring the user's diet according to the diet plan selected by
the user (such as the DASH guidelines recommended by the U.S. Department of
Health or the "light fasting" diet that is becoming popular). Further, the present
system includes an exercise and diet monitoring module. Further, the present system
includes an individual/group game module, where users compete with each other
through games to promote weight loss and health care. As an optional way, in the
above personal health management system, it can also be compatible with various
types of exercise software connection, by setting and achieving fitness goals,
communicating with friends and doctors, learning and other functions.
As an optional way, the above personal health management system also includes
a health management big data system, forming a personalized medical cloud platform
information system that integrates all data into one, realizing automatic health
monitoring, health guidance, medical consultation, providing customers with a full range of health-related information (diet, exercise, medication, etc.), complete health testing, prevention programs and related health knowledge. data, characterized in that it comprises:
a data collection module for collecting data related to personal health
information;
a base database for storing the base data related to the personal health
information;
a data feature extraction and comparison analysis module for extracting features
from the data collected by the data collection module and comparing the extracted
features with the data in the base database for analysis;
result output module for outputting health degree judgment results and
corresponding recommendations based on the results of data feature extraction and
comparative analysis of the comparative analysis module;
integrated control module for managing the components in the system and
controlling their information interaction with each other.
2. The personal health management system according to claim 1, characterized in
that the data is one or more of image, video, text.

that the data is tongue data.
4. The personal health management system according to claim 1, characterized in
that the data further includes tongue veins, lip color, facial features, hand lines, nails,
