Abstract

The invention discloses a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects comprising a core with at least one active ingredient; and a porous reticular layer enclosing a surface of a core layer; through the above mentioned multilayer structure, the highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects disclosed in the invention is capable of achieving efficacies of rapidly releasing ingredients of an outer layer, and at the same time stably releasing the active ingredient in the core.

Description

A HIGHLY BIOAVAILABLE COMPOSITE POROUS PARTICLE WITH BOTH RAPID DISINTEGRATION AND SUSTAINED-RELEASE EFFECTS BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of Invention
[0001] The invention relates to a structure of a nutritional supplement composition, and more particularly to a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects.
Related Art
[0002] Functional foods refer to products that obtain health care functions from general foods or beverages. The common way is to add nutrients, lactic acid bacteria or other functional materials to the foods, but because a larger amount of the foods needs to be eaten to be capable of reaching the required dose for health care benefits, so a degree of convenience is relatively low. Dietary supplements are mostly in the form of capsule or tablet, related products such as multivitamins have high sales volume in the global market, and the scope of efficacies covered is quite wide, including energy replenishment, cardiovascular health care and bone health care, but health care products in such forms are quite troublesome for young children or the elderly, or people who are afraid of swallowing drugs. In addition, the size of capsule and tablet is small, if sufficient nutrients or functional ingredients are to be replenished, you may need to take the drug several times a day and swallow it with water, which is rather inconvenient for people who are busy at work or on the go.
[0003] At present, there are many types and forms of health care products that claim to supplement nutrition or provide efficacy, in addition to convenience, consumers consider good flavor and better palatability are also important factors that can greatly increase their desire to purchase. Furthermore, if the functional ingredients cannot be dissolved and released quickly to be decomposed and absorbed by the human body, it is not only a waste of money, but also the expected effects are greatly reduced. Therefore, in order to improve the drawbacks of the conventional product structures, and take into account the palatability of foods and consumer needs, the inventor of the invention has invested a lot of efforts to develop a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] A main object of the invention is to provide a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects capable of making the human body to absorb quickly and prolonging the time of active ingredients in the human body, so as to achieve efficacies of long-acting absorption and improving the bioavailability of the human body.
[0005] Another object of the invention is to provide a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects capable of achieving efficacies of providing portability for consumers, being readily taken at any time by consumers, and enhancing consumers' desire to buy.
[0006] A secondary object of the invention is to provide a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects capable of melting in the mouth instantly and having a refreshing mouthfeel, and modifying undesirable odors to increase consumers' desire to take the particle, thereby achieving efficacies of increasing palatability and enhancing consumers' acceptance.
[0007] Yet another object of the invention is to provide a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects, which is mainly composed of ingredients of collagen and natural plant extract, and added with a variety of vitamins and minerals, and capable of reducing consumers' concerns on food safety and achieving an efficacy of regulating body functions.
[0008] In order to achieve the above objects, the invention discloses a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects comprising a core with at least one active ingredient; and a porous reticular layer enclosing a surface of a core layer.
[0009] In one embodiment of the invention, the active ingredient is collagen, plant extract, gum arabic, natural fruit juice, or other ingredient that contributes to health of the human body.
[0010] In another embodiment of the invention, main ingredients of the porous reticular layer comprise vitamins, minerals, lactose, corn starch, glucose, gum arabic, and flavoring agent, or a combination of at least any two of the above ingredients.
[0011] A highly bioavailable composite porous particle composition with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects disclosed in the invention is capable of being prepared into different forms or packages according to the requirements of use. For example, the invention provides a highly bioavailable composite porous particle composition with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects comprising a body with an accommodating space for accommodating a plurality of highly bioavailable composite porous particles with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects.
[0012] In one embodiment of the invention, the body is a bag or a capsule, and the capsule has different hardnesses according to requirements.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0019] The invention discloses a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects which is designed through a multilayer structure to achieve efficacies of rapid disintegration of an outer layer to release ingredients and stable and slow release of an active ingredient in a core in order to achieve an efficacy of regulating body functions by enhancing an absorption rate of various functional ingredients in the human body; and capable of effectively modifying undesirable odors and flavors through the multilayer structure, so that the invention as a whole can be melted in the mouth instantly and has a refreshing mouthfeel, thereby increasing palatability and purchasing rate.
[0020] In the following, in order to illustrate the technical features and efficacies of the invention, several embodiments are given in conjunction with the drawings for detailed description as follows.
[0021] Please refer to FIG. 1, a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects 10 s disclosed in a first embodiment of the invention mainly comprises a core 20 and a porous reticular layer 30, wherein: the core 20 is composed of a variety of active ingredients comprising collagen, compound plant extract, gum arabic and natural fruit juice; and the porous reticular layer 30 is enclosed on a surface of the core 20 and is composed of vitamins, minerals, lactose, corn starch, glucose, gum arabic, and flavoring agent, or a combination of at least any two of the above ingredients.
[0022] With the composition of the above-mentioned components, and with the feature of the porous reticular layer 30 being capable of quickly disintegrating in the human body, the highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained release effects10 disclosed in the invention is capable of prompting the release of ingredients such as vitamins and minerals after entering the human body; since the porous reticular layer is enclosed outside the core 20, the time of releasing the active ingredients in the core 20 can be delayed, and since the core 20 does not have pores, the active ingredients are capable of slowly releasing in the human body to achieve an efficacy of stable absorption of the active ingredients in the human body.
[0023] Further, in order to increase the convenience and portability of use, as shown in FIG. 2, the invention discloses a highly bioavailable composite porous particle composition with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects 90 comprising a body 91 with a rectangular bag shape and with an accommodating space 911, and a plurality of highly bioavailable composite porous particles with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects 10a are accommodated in the accommodating space 911. With the small package design, it is capable of not only improving the portability, but also reducing the risk of contamination, and achieving an efficacy of effectively improving the convenience of storage.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 3, a highly bioavailable composite porous particle composition with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects 90a disclosed by the invention is roughly the same as the aforementioned structure, a main difference is that a body 91a is in a capsule shape, and is capable of achieving the same efficacy as the aforementioned structure.
[0025] In order to increase the fun of taking the composite porous particle, the highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects of the invention is capable of being prepared into different shapes, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, in which a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects 10b disclosed in a second embodiment of the invention is in a triangular shape; a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects 10c disclosed in a third embodiment of the invention is elliptical; and a highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects 10d disclosed in a fourth embodiment of the invention is in a circular ring shape.
[0026] It is to be understood that the above description is only the embodiments of the invention and is not used to limit the present invention, and changes in accordance with the concepts of the present invention may be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention, for example, the equivalent effects produced by various transformations, variations, modifications and applications made to the configurations or arrangements shall still fall within the scope covered by the appended claims of the present invention.

Claims (5)

CLAIMS:
1. A highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects comprising: a core; and a porous reticular layer enclosing a surface of the core.
2. The highly bioavailable composite porous particle with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects as claimed in claim 1, wherein ingredients of the core comprise collagen, plant extract, gum arabic, and natural fruit juice, or a combination of at least any two of the above ingredients; and ingredients of the porous reticular layer comprise vitamins, minerals, lactose, corn starch, glucose, gum arabic, and flavoring agent, or a combination of at least any two of the above ingredients.
3. A highly bioavailable composite porous particle composition with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects comprising a body with an accommodating space, and a plurality of the highly bioavailable composite porous particles with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects as claimed in claim 1 or 2 being disposed in the accommodating space.
4. The highly bioavailable composite porous particle composition with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects as claimed in claim 3, wherein the body is a bag.
5. The highly bioavailable composite porous particle composition with both rapid disintegration and sustained-release effects as claimed in claim 3, wherein the body is a capsule.
