[0001] The present disclosure relates to a human resource management and in particular to a conceptual framework of artificial intelligence in human resource management.
[0002] Human resources for an enterprise are the people who work for the enterprise. The performance of an enterprise largely depends on its human resources. This brings up the concept of managing human resource.
[0003] Human resource management involves recruitment of new employees by an enterprise, providing compensation and other benefits, taking care of an employee so as to improve its performance, developing policies related to human resources, etc. Similar to management of any other resource, the acquisition of a new resource is one of the most important steps.
[0004] Conventional human resource management process is a detail and time taking process. It involves following steps: A human resource requirement is published by the recruiter. The publication states all the requirements such as education qualification, work experience, skill set required, etc. The interested candidate replies to the publication attaching his resume along with the reply. Then the recruiter manually goes through all the applications received in response to the publication. The candidates which he finds fit are called for further process.
[0005] The scope of conventional process is limited to the case where there are only a few numbers of human resources involved. As, the enterprise grows, the number of human resources involved are large and hence the conventional method is not the proper and easy solution for human resource management.
[00061 Efforts have been made in the related prior art to provide different solutions for providing effective human resource management. US6049776A approaches to find more effective solution by forming a Resource Management System (RMS). Here, RMS database contain files having information on human resources, skills, schedules and projects. This information is obtained from the corporate databases and by manual direct entry. This method has its scope limited to entry of data, creation of database, and searching as per requirement. This arises a scope of advancing the technology and providing more efficient solution by introducing artificial intelligence.
[00071 More efforts have been made in some other related prior art to provide solution by exploiting artificial intelligence. CN109614546 provides more efficient solution by using artificial intelligence. This technology is limited to "keyword search" and grading of the candidates. Hence, there is more scope of advancement in the technology.
[0008] The current invention advances the technology in prior art by focusing on effective skillset search and more efficient algorithms based on artificial intelligence.
[0009] The object of the present disclosure is to provide a conceptual framework of artificial intelligence in human resource management.
[0010] Still another object of the present disclosure is to provide a method for more efficient solution for human resource management.
[0011] The present concept of the present invention is directed towards use of more efficient algorithms and artificial intelligence in the method for more efficient management of human resources.
[0012] In an aspect, the method for managing human resource of an enterprise using artificial intelligence comprises steps of: creating database of the human resource, segregating the employee based on the skillset in the created database, generation of request for the employee by the enterprise, wherein in the request, the enterprise provides necessary skillset for job, selecting the employee whose skillset matched with the necessary skillset for job after generation of the request, sending details of the selected employee to the enterprise.
[0013] In an aspect, the database of the human resource is stored in the cloud server of the enterprise. The segregation of the employee is done based on the skillset which comprises of the academic information, past job experience and current position in the enterprise. The selection of employees is done using an algorithm and the data of selected employees is sent to the human resource manager of the enterprise.
[0014] FIG. 1 illustrates an exemplary flow chart for the method under this invention for managing human resource of an enterprise using artificial intelligence.
[0015] In an embodiment of the present disclosure, Human resources are the people who work for an enterprise. It includes all the employees, at all the levels, founders, and every other human associated with the enterprise. The performance of an enterprise largely depends on its human resources. As every other resource of an enterprise requires a proper method of management to bring out the best out of the resource, the human resources also need to be managed in the most efficient way so that all the human resource of an enterprise performs at its best and for the best performance of the enterprise.
[00161 Human resource management involves recruitment of new employees by an enterprise, providing compensation and other benefits, taking care of an employee so as to improve its performance, developing policies related to human resources, etc. Similar to management of any other resource, the acquisition of a new resource is one of the most important step. Acquisition of a new resource could be at any level in an enterprise, a new resource may join an enterprise at a fresher level or at certain advance level, or it could also be that a human resource at one level in the enterprise is trying to make his level up. In all such management activities for managing human resources a good analysis of skill set of the person is required.
[00171 Conventional human resource management process is a detail and time taking process. It involves following steps: A human resource requirement is published by the recruiter. The publication states all the requirements such as education qualification, work experience, skill set required, etc. The interested candidate replies to the publication attaching his resume along with the reply. It may also be a case that ajob seeking candidate may directly communicate to a human resource manager of the enterprise stating his background, education details, skills he has acquired, and other information which he feels relevant.
[0018] Conventionally, all such information is shared to the human resource manager by the candidate through a well-structured resume. The format, style, and structure of the resume of each individual may be different. Collection of resumes through application is followed by the recruiter manually going through all the applications received in response to the publication. The candidates which he finds fit are called for further process.
[0019] The scope of conventional process is limited to the case where there are only a few numbers of human resources involved. As, the enterprise grows, the number of human resources involved are large and hence the conventional method is not the proper and easy solution for human resource management.
[0020] In the present disclosure, fig. 1 illustrates a flow chart for the method (100) under this invention for managing human resource of an enterprise using artificial intelligence. The said method comprises following steps of: creating database (102) of the human resource, wherein the human resource is employee of the enterprise; segregating (104) the employee based on the skillset in the created database; generation of request (106) for the employee by the enterprise, wherein in the request, the enterprise provides necessary skillset for job; selecting (108) the employee whose skillset matched with the necessary skillset forjob after generation of the request; sending (110) details of the selected employee to the enterprise.
[0021] In an aspect of present invention, the said method for managing human resource of an enterprise using artificial intelligence, the human resource, herein after employee, registers himself on the portal of the enterprise by providing a basic information. After registration, a login id and password are generated. The employee uses this login id and password to fill up further information and apply for the role he is interested. The information entered by the employee includes the educational background of the employee, work experience, achievements of the employee, skills acquired, other personal details of the employee such as family background, hobbies and any other information which the employer wants to know.
[0022] In the same aspect of the present invention, the information entered by the employee is stored with the enterprise and is now a part of the database created (102) for human resource management. The database (102) of the human resource is stored in the cloud server of the enterprise.
[00231 In another aspect of the present invention, skillset is derived for every human resource. The skillset so derived is now a new part of the database so created for management of human resources. Derivation of the skillset involve algorithm-based analysis of the profile of the employee which includes analysis of academic information, past work experience, current role in the enterprise. All the employees whose data is present in the database are segregated (104) based on the skillset of the employee as described above.
[0024] In yet another aspect of the present invention, the enterprise, based on its business requirement, generates a request (106) for the employee. This is publication of the job-requirement by the enterprise. The enterprise through its publication, specifies necessary skillsets required for the job. The skillset as specified by the enterprise is one of the inputs taken by the algorithm used to reach final solution.
[0025] In yet another aspect of the present invention, the employee selection algorithm (108) selects the employee by marking the employee in the database whose skillset is matches with the skillset required by the enterprise. The employee is marked as matched if and only if at least 50% of the skillset required by the enterprise is present with the employee.
[00261 In yet another aspect of the present invention, the details of the selected employees are sent (110) to the human resource manager. The details sent includes the academic information, the past job experience, skillset matched, and all other details present in the database. The human resource manager receives the details and based on this makes the final decision.
