Abstract
The present invention discloses a segmented hot cutting knife, including a blade and a knife rest, the blade is formed by splicing a plurality of mutually independent 5 blade units end to end, the blade units are connected in parallel and are electrically insulated from each other. The blade is a structure of a long strip shape with a cutting edge, and the blade is mounted on the knife rest. The knife rest is a structure of a long strip shape with a square groove at the top, and the cutting edge of the blade is mounted outward in the square groove of the knife rest. The present invention has an 10 ingenious structure, a novel conception, uniform heat generation, a stable structure of the blade, a long service life, convenient for maintenance, a compact structure, and convenient in precise control.
Description
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of a cutting device and more specifically to a segmented hot cutting knife.
BACKGROUND
Cutting plays a crucial part in the field of machining and processing of materials and the cutting devices applied are also varied. According to different cutting techniques, the existing cutting devices include cutting with a blade having sawteeth or a saw blade, laser cutting, water jet cutting, ultrasonic cutting, hot knife cutting, etc., which are used in various cutting fields according to their respective advantages and disadvantages of features. Hot knife cutting is a cutting technology that uses a heated cutting blade for cutting.
The existing hot cutting knives are mostly small, the structure of the device is simple and can be conveniently held in hand. However, when applied to large equipment, heat of the hot cutting knife is readily dissipated, therefore the energy utilization rate is not high. In addition, heat is dissipated nonuniformly, resulting in a nonuniform temperature distribution on the hot cutting knife, which greatly affects the cutting quality. If the hot cutting knife malfunctions somewhere, the entire hot cutting knife can no longer be used, and the service life is short. Therefore, the hot cutting knife in large hot cutting knife device is required to be redesigned or improved so as to meet the requirements of industrial applications and the premise of energy saving and environmental protection.
SUMMARY
Based on the defects of the prior art, the technical problem to be solved by the i
present disclosure is to provide a segmented hot cutting knife.
The technical problem to be solved by the present disclosure is realized by the following technical solutions. A segmented hot cutting knife includes a blade and a knife rest, in the present disclosure, the blade is formed by splicing a plurality of mutually independent blade units end to end, the blade units are connected in parallel and are electrically insulated from each other, the blade is a structure of a long strip shape with a cutting edge and is mounted on the knife rest, the knife rest is a structure of a long strip shape with a square groove at the top, and a cutting edge of the blade is mounted outward in a square groove of the knife rest.
In the present disclosure, the blade unit includes two hard insulating protective sheets fastened together, a heating strip is arranged on a cutting edge of the blade unit, the heating strip is located between the two protective sheets, and a first end and a second end of the heating strip respectively lead out a conducting wire.
Further, the protective sheet is a ceramic sheet.
In the present disclosure, a first side and a second side of the blade mounted on the square groove of the knife rest are respectively provided with a limiting filling medium, and specifically, including a limiting plate arranged below and a filling material arranged above.
Further, the limiting plate is a mica plate, and the filling material is a bonding material, and more specifically is a high temperature resistant binder.
In the present disclosure, the knife rest includes a bottom plate and a cover plate fastened together, the bottom plate and the cover plate are provided with through bolt holes corresponding to the bottom plate and the cover plate and are fixed by bolts.
In the present disclosure, the heating strip is a structure of a long strip shape or a S-shape or a heating wire.

In the present disclosure, a first end and a second end of the blade are respectively provided with an end cap so as to fix the first end and the second end of the blade and to protect the structure of the blade.
Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure has a novel structure and an ingenious conception, a design that the hot cutting knife is segmented, so that the adjacent segments of the hot cutting knife generate the same heat, so as to realize an uniform temperature of the entire hot cutting knife, ensuring the cutting quality when the segmented hot cutting knife is applied to a large cutting operation on a large device. The specific structure of the blade unit can sufficiently utilize the electric energy to generate heat, and the insulation structure thereof can also ensure there is no influence between adjacent blade units. The blade is embedded in the knife rest through the insulating filling material, so that the blade is firmly fixed on the knife rest, realizing both heat insulation and insulation, and the stability of the structure of the blade is maintained during a high-speed cutting. The blade units of each segment are independent from each other, even if a fault does not affect an overall use, the blade unit can be quickly replaced and is convenient for maintenance. In addition, the overall structure is compact, the segmented hot cutting knife is mounted on a roller or other specific structure to realize a precise control.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
The present disclosure is further described below with the drawings and the preferred embodiments without limiting the scope of the present disclosure.
As shown in FIGs. 1-3, the segmented hot cutting knife includes the blade 1 and the knife rest 2, the blade 1 is formed by splicing a plurality of mutually independent blade units 3 end to end, the blade units 3 are connected in parallel and are electrically insulated from each other, the blade units 3 includes the two ceramic protective sheets 4 fastened together, the heating strip 10 is arranged on the cutting edge of the blade unit 3, the heating strip 10 is located between the two protective sheets 4, and the first end and the second end of the heating strip 10 respectively lead out the conducting wire 11, the blade 1 is the structure of the long strip shape with the cutting edge, the knife rest 2 is the structure of the long strip shape with the square groove at the top, and the cutting edge of the blade 1 is mounted outward in the square groove of the knife rest 2, the first side and the second side of the blade 1 are respectively provided with the limiting filling medium, including the limiting plate 8 arranged below and the filling material 9 arranged above, the knife rest 2 includes the bottom plate 5 and the cover plate 6 fastened together, the bottom plate 5 and the cover plate 6 are provided with the through bolt holes 7 corresponding to the bottom plate 5 and the cover plate 6 and are fixed by the bolts, the first end and the second end of the blade 1 are respectively provided with the end cap 12 so as to fix the first end and the second end of the blade 1 and to protect the structure of the blade 1.
When the segmented hot cutting knife of the present disclosure is applied to a hot cutting device, the heating strip 10 in each blade unit 3 starts to generate heat after being electrified. Since the heating strips 10 are connected in parallel and are insulated from each other, the electric energy of each heating strip 10 is uniform, therefore the

Therefore, the present disclosure has an ingenious structure, a novel conception, uniform heat generation, a stable structure of the blade, a long service life, convenient for maintenance, a compact structure, and convenient in precise control.
Claims (8)
1. A segmented hot cutting knife, comprising a blade and a knife rest, characterized in that, the blade is formed by splicing a plurality of mutually independent blade units end to end, the blade units are connected in parallel and are electrically insulated from each other, the blade is a structure of a long strip shape with a cutting edge and is mounted on the knife rest, the knife rest is a structure of a long strip shape with a square groove at the top, and a cutting edge of the blade is mounted outward in the square groove of the knife rest.

The segmented hot cutting knife according to claim 1 , characterized in that, the blade unit comprises two hard insulating protective sheets fastened together, a heating strip is arranged on the cutting edge of the blade unit, the heating strip is located between the two protective sheets, a first end and a second end of the heating strip respectively lead out a conducting wire.
3. The segmented hot cutting knife according to claim 2, characterized in that, the protective sheet is a ceramic sheet.

The segmented hot cutting knife according to claim 1, characterized in that, a first side and a second side of the blade mounted on a square groove of the knife rest are respectively provided with a limiting filling medium, and specifically comprising a limiting plate arranged below and a filling material arranged above.
5. The segmented hot cutting knife according to claim 4, characterized in that, the limiting plate is a mica plate, and the filling material is a bonding material.

The segmented hot cutting knife according to claim 1, characterized in that, the knife rest comprises a bottom plate and a cover plate fastened together, the bottom plate and the cover plate are provided with through bolt holes corresponding to the bottom plate and the cover plate and are fixed by bolts.
