Abstract

It is a Gas and smoke detector, which automatically cuts off the gas supply and sends a message/signal to the owner through an application. This device is named as innotech (innovative technology) detectors. We love our homes and we always want our family to be safer, especially dealing with gas and fire. Which can be very dangerous, if it is not addressed properly. It is WEB based application which is connected to a hardware. This hardware detects the leakage of NATURAL, LPG gas and fire smoke in any location where it is installed, if leakage of gas occurs, it will send an alert to user on mobile on this application. It will also help user to monitor and control the gas valve connected in gas pipeline. In addition, the user can switch on / off the light which is installed at the center of the unit. Sensitivity or range to detect smoke and gas can be controlled with the app. Smoke and gas detector alarm can be reset through the mobile app. Gas detector has plug in options with attachable smoke detector, if device is installed in the kitchen. In that case smoke detector can be installed in different location with the help of pin plug wire attached with gas detector.

Description

INNOTECH (Innovative Technology)
Every day millions of people use gas in their day to day life. That can be both residential or industrial. So, it is very important to address this issue with proper system.
It is a WEB based application which is connected to hardware. This hardware detects the leakage of NATURAL, LPG gas, AND SMOKE in any location where it is installed, if leakage of gas occurs or fire smoke, it will send an alert to a user on mobile on this application. It will also help a user to monitor and control the gas valve connected in a gas pipeline. In case of gas leak and fire, the gas pipeline will be shut of automatically with the help of solenoid valve. Then the user turns on the valve with the help of mobile app-
This above system will give user full control of the situation and can act accordingly.
Working principle:
The hardware consists of components like a microcontroller, Wi-Fi module, Gas sensor, Smoke sensor, and solenoid valve. Wi-Fi module provides the network connectivity to our equipment. Gas sensor and a smoke sensor is used to detect the presence of gas and smoke (a mobile application controls sensitivity) in the air, the response of the sensor will be sent to a controller. The controller transmits the information to the database and if the gas is detected in the air then the controller turn-off the supply of gas by turning off the solenoid valve. This leakage alert will be sent on the mobile application. And the user turns on the valve automatically with his mobile device remotely.
Mobile web application is used to control the sensor and valve and tell the location, where multiple gases and smoke sensors are installed in different areas. With the help of a mobile app user can control the sensitivity of the gas and smoke sensor.
Disadvantages of a present gas detector. • Since these gas detectors are not connected to Wi-Fi, hence the link between the user and the gas detector is lost. • The user must physically re-set the device. • Since they are not linked with the application, therefore it will be difficult to set up a network. An example in shopping malls (food courts) it will be difficult to find a gas leak among many restaurants.
The Advantages of Super Gas Detector. • When the innotech Detector, detects any gas leak and flame smoke, it will immediately shut the gas valve and alerts the user on their mobile through an application. • The user can control the sensitivity of gas detection and smoke detector range. • The owner can reset the device with the help of an application. • The user can monitor and control the gas valve in the gas pipeline remotely. • Since the innotech Detectors are connected through Wi-Fi, we can connect as many units as possible to form a network and check the locations of every device. • The user can control the safety light by an application. • The user has an pin plug to connect a smoke detector with a gas detector in some different locations.

  3. 3. Any Controlling of a gas detector with the help of an application/ WEB/ Wi-Fi or internet.
  4. 4. Connecting several gas detectors in a network through an application/WEB/ Wi-Fi or internet and tell the locations.

The system/idea/concept of connecting and controlling a gas valve/valves, by gas detector and smoke detector, which will close the gas valve/valves automatically after detecting a gas leak and fire in the air and sends a message/signal/information to the user/owner with the help of an application/WEB/Wi-Fi or using internet.
  6. 6. A gas detector is primary device which paired multiple smoke detectors.
  7. 7. A gas detector with a safety light, which can be controlled by an application/WEB/Wi-Fi or internet.
