Abstract
Abstract The invention is related to the recharging of an electric vehicle's battery as the vehicle is travelling without needing to stop and plug in a power lead to re charge the battery. 2017101265 1
Description
Description
The innovation is to use an electromagnet installed on the ground or many electromagnets positioned in a linear arrangement along the longitudinal axis of a recharging lane on a road. A linear alternator unit installed underneath a car would enable battery charging while driving through a dedicated charging lane or tollway.
This would enable an electric car's battery to be charged while driving to eliminate stopping to recharge. This would essentially extend the practical range of electric vehicles if these recharging lanes or tollways were strategically installed along road transport corridors.
Payment for charging could be managed similar to the method used for toll payments.
Claims (1)
