DESCRIPTION MOTOR BRUSH CARRIER ASSEMBLY WITH A LONG SERVICE LIFE Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a motor brush carrier assembly with a long service life.
Background of the Invention
The motor brush carrier is usually mounted inside the motor cover. It is necessary to detach the motor to replace electric brushes. This is both troublesome and time consuming. In order to increase the service life of electric brushes, longer electric brushes may be selected. However, the selection of longer electric brushes requires a large brush carrier. This increases the volume of the brush carrier and consequently requires a large volume of the motor cover used for receiving the brush carrier, leading to high cost.
Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to provide a motor brush carrier assembly with a long service life which facilitates the replacement of electric brushes and allows for the selection of longer electric brushes without changing the volume of the cover and of the brush carrier.
To realize this purpose, the present invention employs the following technical solution. A motor brush carrier assembly with a long service life includes a motor cover and a brush carrier, the brush carrier including a brush carrier plate and a plurality of electric brushes, the brush carrier plate of the brush carrier being fixed within the motor cover; a plurality of windows is formed on a side wall of a circumference of the motor cover, the number of windows being the same as that of electric brushes, each window being 1 2016101684 19 Sep 2016 correspondingly located on an outer side of one electric brush; the windows comprise outer windows on the outer side and inner windows on the inner side, the opening of the outer windows being larger than that of the inner windows; and a detachable cover plate is provided inside each of the outer windows.
When electric brushes are to be replaced, the cover plate is detached, and the replacement of electric brushes is performed through the windows on the cover. The carbon dust can be cleaned by an air gun through the windows. Wherein, the arrangement of the inner windows can relatively increase the thickness of the outer side of the electric brushes, so that longer electric brushes can be selected in the present invention. Since the electric brushes can be extended into the inner windows, the service life of the electric brushes can be increased without changing the volume of the brush carrier and of the cover; a plurality of scroll springs is fixed on the brush carrier, with one electric brush corresponding to one scroll spring; the scroll springs are located on one of left and right sides of the electric brush; and an inner end of the scroll spring is an scroll structure while an outer end of the scroll spring is extended to the space between the electric brush and an inner wall of the motor cover. Usually, the brush carrier spring is mounted on the outer side of the electric brush.
In contrast, since the spring is mounted on one of left and right sides of the electric brush, the space on the outer side of the electric brush is reserved, so that longer electric brushes may be selected and thus the service life of the motor brush carrier assembly of the present invention may be increased.
The present invention has the advantages that the replacement of electric brushes is convenient and the service life of electric brushes is longer.

As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, a motor brush carrier assembly of the present invention includes a motor cover 1 and a brush carrier, the brush carrier including a brush carrier plate 3 and four electric brushes 4, the brush carrier plate 3 of the brush carrier being fixed within the motor cover I.Four windows are formed on a side wall of a circumference of the motor cover 1, each window being correspondingly located on an outer side of an electric brush 4; the windows include outer windows 5 on the outer side and inner windows 6 on the inner side, the opening of the outer windows 5 being larger than that of the inner windows 6; and a detachable cover plate is provided inside each of the outer windows 5, and the cover plate is made of rubber.
Each cover plate is fixed to the motor cover 1 by two fasteners; and process holes 8 fitted with the fasteners are formed on the motor cover 1, the process holes 8 are on the motor cover 1 at a position corresponding to the outer side of the inner windows 6, and the process holes 8 are on the motor cover 1 at a position corresponding to the inner side of the outer window 5.
Left and right ends of the outer window 5 are arc structures 9 protruding outward; the process holes 8 are correspondingly at the left and right ends of the outer window 5, and the process holes 8 are on the left and right sides of the inner window 5; and the shape of the cover plate is matched with that of the outer window 5. When the cover plate is mounted inside the outer window, an outer edge of the cover plate is resisted against an edge of the outer window.
Four scroll springs 7 are fixed on the brush carrier 2, with one electric brush 4 corresponding to one scroll spring 7; the scroll springs 7 are located on one of left and right sides of the electric brush 4; and an inner end of the scroll spring is an scroll structure while an outer end 10 of the scroll spring is extended to the space between the electric brush 4 and an inner wall of the motor cover 1. 3

A motor brush carrier assembly with a long service life, comprising a motor cover and a brush carrier, the brush carrier comprising a brush carrier plate and a plurality of electric brushes, the brush carrier plate of the brush carrier being fixed within the motor cover; a plurality of windows is formed on a side wall of a circumference of the motor cover, the number of windows being the same as that of electric brushes, each window being correspondingly located on an outer side of one electric brush; the windows comprise outer windows on the outer side and inner windows on the inner side, the opening of the outer windows being larger than that of the inner windows; and a detachable cover plate is provided inside each of the outer windows; a plurality of scroll springs is fixed on the brush carrier, with one electric brush corresponding to one scroll spring; the scroll springs are located on one of left and right sides of the electric brush; and an inner end of the scroll spring is an scroll structure while an outer end of the scroll spring is extended to the space between the electric brush and an inner wall of the motor cover.
