Abstract

Abstract A drinks cooler cask that has a plastic ice puck as its base. The puck, which contains a coolant, screws off and can be frozen and reattached so that the cask can be used to keep drinks cool. The puck has a dome that is designed to fit in the recess in a wine bottle. The cask body is constructed from a cardboard cylinder with waxed internal lining to protect the cardboard from condensation. The cask lid is constructed of plastic and has holes for attachment of a handle. The handle attaches using arrow shaped ends that can insert into said holes. The cask has a tap that can be used to dispense beverages from a bladder placed within the cask. The puck can be used separately as a bottle chiller when casks have been used and discarded.

Description

EDITORIAL NOTE 2015101774 - There is one page of Description only Title of Invention or Title Beverage cooling and dispensing tube Technical Field or Field Food/Beverage Background Art or Background Food and Beverage convenience Summary of Invention or Summary The beverage cooling and dispensing tube is a portable beverage dispensing unit which intends to maintain liquids at a cool tempereature with the aid of a cooling brick incorporated into the base of the design. The tube shape storage container encompasses a foil cask for beverage storage and includes a handle and removable ice brick that connects to the base. The conical shape of the cooling brick means that it can be re-used as a cooling coaster for wine bottles, effectively keeping them cool like a ice bucket but without the fuss. Technical Problem Typical bevereage cooling relys on bulky cooling bins "Esky". These are often large and heavy and may not suit small outings. Current portable beverage containers'Wine casks'have a thin cardboard surround and when stored inside an iced bin "Esky" become damp, rotten and inconvenient to use. Ice buckets for wine can be difficult to arrange and cumbersome in small spaces. Solution to Problem Our solution to keeping bevereges cold is to incorporate a removable ice brick into the base of a cylindrical shaped storage unit which includes a handle and stores the beverage in a cask bag. The cask sits on top of the ice brick and helps maintain the beverage at a cooler temperature than normal. All whilst being small and portable. The bevereage can be dispensed through the cask and is kept at a cooler temperature than a traditional'Wine cask' The conical shape of the cooling brick means that it can be re-used as a cooling coaster for wine bottles, effectively keeping them cool like an ice bucket but without the fuss. Advantageous Effects of Invention The advantages of the bevereage cooling and dispensing tube include convenience with the unit being small, light and portable. Able to maintain 2-3Litres of beverage cool to dispense at any time whilst out and about (Picnic). The conical shape of the cooling brick means that it can be re-used as a cooling coaster for wine bottles, effectively keeping them cool like an ice bucket but without the fuss. Brief Description of Drawings (if applicable) Drawing 1/3 shows the assembled beverage cooler tube. You can see the removable cooling brick in the base, dispenser tap for hte bevereage bladder, simple plastic handle on top. Drawing 2/3 shows the exlpoded view of components, including the conical shape of the cooling brick. Drawing 3/3 shows the exploded view of components with annotation details describing the parts and there function Description of Embodiments The beverage cooling and dispensing unit includes an outer storage tube, handle, internal bladder and dispensing tap for dispensing bevereage, removable cooling brick that attaches to the bottom of the storage tube and makes contact with the internal bladder.
