Abstract
Title: A Strengthened Worm Gear Abstract The invention discloses a strengthened worm gear which comprises a gear body and a plurality of gear teeth arranged on the circumferential surface of the gear body, and the end part of one side of each gear tooth is provided with a connecting rib for connecting two adjacent gear teeth. In the invention, a connecting rib for strengthening the capacity of gear teeth resisting bending and torsion is disposed on the end part of one side of each gear tooth to facilitate machining with direct injection molding without other techniques, thereby reducing the production cost and greatly improving the production efficiency. FIG. 1 FIG. 2
Description
Description A Strengthened Worm Gear Technical Field The invention relates to a worm gear used in a small worm reducer. Background of the Invention Conventional worm gear parts used in small worm reducers are commonly formed by injection molding, then sheet metal working and gear hobbing. Such production mode has high production cost and low production efficiency, and the gear teeth of the worm gear produced in such mode has insufficient ability of resisting bending and torsion. In order to improve the bending and torsion resistance of gear teeth, some plants add radial stiffeners to the middle part of gear teeth of worm gears, but the arrangement position of the radial stiffeners increases the complexity of production, and thus the working efficiency is decreased to a great extent. Summary of the Invention The object of the invention is to provide a strengthened worm gear which not only improves the capacity of gear teeth resisting bending and torsion but also reduces the production cost and improves the production efficiency. In order to realize the above object, the invention employs the following technical scheme: a strengthened worm gear comprises a gear body and a plurality of gear teeth arranged on the circumferential surface of the gear body, characterized in that the end part of one side of each gear tooth is provided with a connecting rib for connecting two adjacent gear teeth. Furthermore, the tooth bottom surface between each connecting rib with the two adjacent gear teeth is provided with a transitional cambered surface. With the above technical scheme, the invention has the advantages that a connecting rib for strengthening the capacity of gear teeth resisting bending and torsion is disposed on the end part of one side of each gear tooth to facilitate machining with direct injection molding without other techniques, thereby reducing the production cost and greatly improving the production efficiency. Brief Description of the Drawings The invention will be further described by combining the following drawings: FIG. 1 is a structural diagram of an embodiment of the invention; and FIG.2 is a sectional view of the embodiment. Detailed Description of the Invention FIG1 and FIG.2 are structural diagrams of a preferred embodiment of the invention, in which a strengthened worm gear comprises gear body 1 and a plurality of gear teeth 2 arranged on the circumferential surface of the gear body, the end part of one side of each gear tooth is provided with a connecting rib 3 for connecting two 1 adjacent gear teeth, and the tooth bottom surface 21 between the connecting rib with the two adjacent gear teeth is provided with a transitional cambered surface 4. In the above embodiment, a connecting rib for strengthening the capacity of gear teeth resisting bending and torsion is disposed on the end part of one side of each gear tooth to facilitate machining with direct injection molding without other techniques, thereby reducing the production cost and greatly improving the production efficiency. In addition to the above preferred embodiment, the invention has other embodiments. Various changes and modifications made by those of ordinary skill in the art according to the invention are seen to fall within the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims without departing from the spirit of the invention. 2
