Abstract

Page 4 The disclosed Urolyser is an electrochemical system consistent with one 20 lumen LED light and a strip of urine analyzing tester and a 12 volt rechargeable battery. The tip of the Urolyser is to be placed on children's or incontinent adults' urine or nappy and when the green LED turns on, the tester can be read. If a plus (+) sign appears on the tip of the device it means there most likely is a urinary infection and if there is no plus (+) sign appearing it means the possibility of the urinary tract infection is very low. Urolyser can be used by house hold people or health professionals. It is very reliable and works with a rechargeable battery. The Urolyser device is a very small light weighted unit that can be carried in a person's bag. Urolyser is environmentally clean, it does not produce any harmful waste polluting the planet, and it is very effective and fast and safe. After each test, the tester piece at the tip of the device has to be replaced with a new one. The device must be kept in a dry cool place. =A " -C LED Page 6- Drawings F~lgwre 1

Description

Editorial Note 2015100296 Page 5 with the heading "Urolyser Sequence Listing" has been added to the end of the description.
Page 1 Description The following statement is a full description of this innovation, including the best method of performing it known to me. UROLYSER Urine chemical testers have been used in medicine for so many decades. This innovation is a new form of utilizing urine tester strip and light and electrical current for urinary tract infections diagnosis. A major problem with dip urine tests is having urine available in young children and incontinent adults. Sometimes it takes several hours and so much difficulty to collect enough urine form these groups and have it tested for urinary tract infections. The present invention relates to a small LED light and a 12 volt direct electricity current to absorb the urine form the nappy and contacting the urine with the small tester at the same time. If there is a urinary tract infection a plus (+) sign will appear on the device and if there is no infection no plus sign will appear or half of the plus sign will appear. According to the present invention there is 12 volt power source and one LED light and a 12 volt current. The LED light will turn on when the test is ready to be read. The 12v current is to absorb the urine to the tester part of the device. The device will activate after contact with urine which could be the only traces of the urine in a used nappy. The Urolyser device is 45 grams in weight and each unit's size is 25 ml, or as small as an ordinary pencil sharpener and has an on/off button. Urolyser is consistent with one rechargeable 12 volt battery that lights up the LED light and absorbs the traces of urine at the same time and a leucocyte and nitrate tester strip in shape of plus(+) that can be touched with urine or urine traces in a used nappy to diagnose the urinary tract infection with high sensitivity. Urolyser will provide a fast and efficient system to diagnose urinary tract infections especially in children and incontinent adults in order to commence the treatment quickly. FIGI is perspective view of Urolyser in accordance with the present invention. According to the embodiment of the figure 1 there is a 12 Volt battery 1-A that is powering the whole unit and each unit has a 20 lumen LED light 1-C and a urine tester 1-D sensitive to leucocytes and nitrates. The whole unit has a power switch 1-E that turns it on or off. The battery is rechargeable 1-F. Two electrode endings 1-G will contact with nappy to absorb the traces of urine.
Page 2 Urolyser is designed for urinary tract infection diagnosis by health professionals and ordinary household. It is very sensitive and quite easy to use and to interpret. If the test result is positive the patient has to attend medical assistance for urinary tract infection. Urolyser can be used in human beings and also for animals. Ordinary size of the Urolyser unit is as big as an ordinary pencil sharpener and it is designed quite user friendly.
