Abstract

-A bottle that can be drank from like a glass -A dual purpose bottle

Description

EDITORIAL NOTE 2013101678 There is one page of the description only INNOVATION PATENT DESCRIPTION: A drink bottle/ container made from plastics and/ or glass and/ or metals having a screw cap top and a screw cap base. The screw cap top is similar to a normal threaded plastic drink bottle lid, although it also has a male thread on the outside. The screw cap base is like a normal plastic jar lid, being the same diameter of the bottle/ container. The screw cap base lid also has a female thread in the centre that receives the male thread from the screw cap top. The bottle/ container can be used with two different methods 1: The screw cap top lid can be removed and it can be drank from like a conventional drink bottle. 2: The bottle is inverted, then the screw cap base lid (now at the top) is removed. Once removed it is screwed onto the male thread of the screw cap top lid (now at the bottom). When it is secured the bottle/ container can be used in the same method of a glass/ cup. Being able to be placed on a surface with a secure base to balance it. Being able to be drank from like a glass/ cup. The male thread on the base of the bottle/ container will be only one circumference and of a minimum depth reducing discomfort while drinking. or The male thread may begin some distance from the edge of the opening allowing for a smooth surface to drink from. or The thread may be placed inside of the bottle/ container becoming a female thread and hence the screw cap base lid would have a male thread to fit. Giving a smooth surface to drink from. The shape of the bottle/ container will vary depending on the type of drink it's containing. Examples: Shaped similar to a wine glass for red and white wines. Shaped similar to a champagne flute for sparkling wines. Shaped similar to a beer glass for beer/ cider Shaped similar to a martini glass for cocktails, etc. For sparkling and carbonated drinks that may have an increased pressure plastic shrink wrap may be used to help secure both top and bottom screw cap lids.
