Description

Our Ref: 60681nno P/00/009 Regulation 3.2 AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 INNOVATION SPECIFICATION FOR AN INVENTION ENTITLED Invention title: Muscle-training pant Name of Applicant: Aropec Sports Corp. Address for Service A.P.T. Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys PO Box 222 Mitcham, S.A. 5062 The invention is described in the following statement: MUSCLE-TRAINING PANT BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention 5 The present invention relates generally to a pant and more particularly, to a muscle-training pant. 2. Description of the Related Art There are many kinds of commercially available body-shaping pants providing tightening strength which can focalize the regional muscles and fat of human body to 10 specific portions to reach the body-shaping purpose. For example, Taiwan Patent No. M325741 disclosed an improved body-shaping pant, which includes a spiral tightening member mounted to the main body of the patent and a tightening member mounted to a rear end face of the pant. In this way, the total tightening strength of the two tightening members can make the hip 15 up and shape the thighs. In general, the aforesaid conventional body-shaping pant is to be worn by a user while he or she does not take exercise, thus making the user passively be tightened for the body-shaping purpose. To make the hip up, the tightening members are located right around the hip. 20 In addition to the passive body shaping, some of the users also hope to wear such pants, while taking exercise, to have more muscle-training effects attained by resistance generated by the tightening strengths of the pants. However, the conventional body-shaping pant in design fails to achieve effective muscle training as applied to body building. In particular, the tightening members of the conventional body-shaping pant 25 are designed to pass the hip, so the auxiliary training effects on major muscles, like 2 femoral quadriceps and biceps, are very limited. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a muscle-training pant, which can provide effective muscle training. 5 The foregoing objective of the present invention is attained by the muscle-training pant is formed of a main body, two front zosters, two rear zosters, a first left zoster, a second left zoster, a first right zoster, and a second right zoster. The main body includes a waist portion, a hip portion adjacent to the waist portion, a left-thigh portion, a right-thigh portion, a front lateral, and a rear lateral. Each of the 10 left-thigh and right-thigh portions extends downward from the hip portion and includes a bottom edge. The waist portion includes a top edge. The two front zosters are mounted to the front lateral of the main body and provided with a tightening strength, extending downward to respective end edges adjacent to respective centers of the bottom edges of the left-thigh and right-thigh portions from respective end edges located between a 15 center of the top edge of the waist portion and left and right sides of the waist portion. The two rear zosters are mounted to the rear lateral of the main body and provided with a tightening strength, extending downward to respective end edges adjacent to the respective centers of the bottom edges of the left-thigh and right-thigh portions from respective end edges located between the center of the top edge of the waist portion and 20 the left and right side of the waist portion. The first left and right zosters pass by the front lateral of main body to respective right and left sides of the hip portion from the left and right sides of the waist portion and keep passing by the rear lateral of the main body to respective undersides of the right-thigh and left-thigh portions. The second left and rights zosters pass by the rear lateral of the main body to the right and left sides of 25 the hip portion from the left and right sides of the waist portion and keep passing by the 3 front lateral of the main body to the respective undersides of the right-thigh and left-thigh portions. Each of the first and second left zosters and first and second right zosters has tightening strength. In light of the above, the arrangement of the front and rear zosters can provide 5 additional resistance against the femoral quadriceps and biceps to boost the training effect. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the present invention. 10 FIG. 2 is a rear view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a right view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a lateral view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention in use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS 15 Structural features and desired effects of the present invention will become more fully understood by reference to a preferred embodiment given hereunder. However, it is to be understood that the embodiment is given by way of illustration only, thus is not limitative of the claim scope of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 1-3, a muscle-training pant in accordance with a preferred 20 embodiment of the present invention is formed of a main body 10, two front zosters 20, two rear zosters 30, a first left zoster 40, a second left zoster 50, a first right zoster 60, and a second right zoster 70. The detailed descriptions and operations of these elements as well as their interrelations are recited in the respective paragraphs as follows. The main body 10 is made of cotton fiber or another fiber or a knitted cloth 25 made of a plurality of fibers and uncertainly has any tightening strength. Preferably, the 4 main body 10 has slight tightening strength for clinging to human skin. The main body 10 includes a waist portion 11, a hip portion 12 adjacent to the waist portion 11, a left-thigh portion 13, and a right-thigh portion 14. The left-thigh and right-thigh portions 13,14 extend downward from the hip portion 12. The waist portion 11 includes 5 a top edge 111. Each of the left-thigh and right-thigh portions 13,14 includes a bottom edge 131,141. The main body 10 includes a front lateral 101 and a rear lateral 102. The boundaries between the front and rear laterals 101,102 are left and right sides of the main body 10, respectively. It is to be noted that the terms "front", "rear", "left", "right", "top", and "bottom" in the context are based on the orientation while the user wears the 10 muscle-training pant of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 1 again, the two front zosters 20 are mounted to the front lateral 101 and provided with a tightening strength, extending downward to respective end edges 132,142 adjacent to respective centers of the bottom edges 131,141 of the left-thigh and right-thigh portions 13,14 from respective end edges 112,113 located 15 between a center of the top edge 111 and left and right sides of the waist portion 11. In other words, the front zoster 20 located at the left side of the main body 10 extends between the two end edges 112,132 and the front zoster 20 at the right side of the main body 10 extends between the two edges 113,142, so the orientations of the extension of the two front zosters 20 are parallel to the human femoral quadriceps. 20 Referring to FIG. 2 again, the two rear zosters 30 are mounted to the rear laterals 102 of the main body 10 and provided with tightening strengths, extending downward to respective end edges 133,143 adjacent to the bottom edges 131,141 of the left-thigh and right-thigh portions 13,14 from respective end edges 113,115 located between a center of the top edge 111 and the left and right sides of the waist portion 11. 25 In other words, the rear zoster 30 located at the left side of the main body 10 extends 5 between the end edges 114,133 and the other rear zoster 30 located at the right side of the main body 10 extends between the end edges 114,143, so the orientations of the two rear zosters 30 are parallel to the human femoral biceps. Referring to FIGS. 1-3 again, the first left zoster 40 passes by the front lateral 5 101 of the main body 10 from the left side of the waist portion 11 to the right side of the hip portion 12 and keeps passing by the rear lateral 102 to an underside of the right-thigh portion 14. The second left zoster 50 passes by the rear lateral 102 of the main body 10 from the left side of the waist portion 11 to the right side of the hip portion 12 and keeps 10 passing by the front lateral 101 from the right side of the hip portion 12 to the underside of the right-thigh portion 14. The first right zoster 60 passes by the front lateral 101 of the main body 10 from the right side of the waist portion 11 to the left side of the hip portion 12 and keeps passing by the rear lateral 102 from the left side of the hip portion 12 to an underside of 15 the left-thigh portion 13. The second right zoster 70 passes by the rear lateral 102 of the main body 10 from the right side of the waist portion 11 to the left side of the hip portion 12 and keeps passing by the front lateral 101 from the left side of the hip portion 12 to the underside of the left-thigh portion 13. 20 Each of the front and rear zosters 20,30 of the first and second left zosters 40,50, and first and second right zosters 60,70 includes tightening strength and the total tightening strength of the front and rear zosters 20,30 is greater than that of the first and second left zosters 40,50 or that of the first and second right zosters 60,70. The difference between the tightening strengths is reached by elastomeric fiber bands with 25 different deniers. The difference between the tightening strengths can also be reached 6 by elastomeric fiber bands with the same diner but different lengths. For example, while the user wears the muscle-training pant, each of the front and rear zosters 20,30 is long enough to enable the user to stretch it up to 80% of its maximum tension, and each of the first and second left zosters 40,50 and first and second right zosters 60,70 is long 5 enough to enable the user to stretch it up to 70% of the maximum tension. In this way, even if the elastomeric fiber bands are the same in denier, the predetermined tensions of the elastomeric fiber bands can still be adjusted subject to different lengths to enable each of the front and rear zosters 20,30 to provide greater tightening strength. Besides, the total tightening strength of the front and rear zosters 20,30 and other zosters is much 10 greater than that of the main body 10. Referring to FIG. 4, when the user wears the muscle-training pant of the present invention, the arrangement of the front and rear zosters 20,30 in coordination with other zosters can enable the user to strengthen his or her femoral quadriceps and biceps to further lead to good exercise effect of the major muscles of the hip and thighs, 15 improving the deficiency that the conventional body-shaping pant has not been fully applicable to the people who take excise and satisfying the user's pluralistic needs. In addition to the aforesaid preferred embodiment of the present invention, the muscle-training pant of the present invention can partially have alterative structures. For example, the lengths of the main body and the zosters can be adjusted, or the main body 20 and the zosters can be stitched together. 7
