Description

P/00/012 Regulation 3.2 AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 ORIGINAL COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT Invention Title: "DRIVING ASSEMBLY FOR CURTAIN" The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: DRIVING ASSEMBLY FOR CURTAIN FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a driving assembly for a curtain, and more particularly, to a driving assembly wherein the bead chain is installed to the driving assembly after the driving assembly is initially assembled. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION A conventional curtain driving assembly is shown in Fig. 6 and generally includes a stationary part 3, a mount 4 and a bead chain 5, wherein a chain wheel 31 is pivotably connected to the stationary part 3 and a wall 32. The mount 4 is connected to the stationary part 3 so as to limit the chain wheel 31 located between the stationary part 3 and the mount. The mount 4 has a stop 41 located corresponding to the chain wheel 31. The bead chain 5 is wrapped to the chain wheel 31 and does not drop from the chain wheel 31 by the wall 32 and the stop 41. However, the way that the bead chain 5 is to be installed to the chain wheel 31 is not convenient. In the present time, concerning the requirements of the consumers on the flexibility for choosing the bead chain 5 from various specifications and types, and to avoid the inconvenience to the consumers from assembling the stationary part 3 and the mount 4 to be a main driving set by themselves, the main driving set is always assembled firstly, and then the chosen bead chain 5 is installed to the stationary part 3 of the main driving set by the consumer. Because of the wall 32 and the stop 41, the assembler has to either separate the stationary part 3 and the mount 4, or to bend the wall 32 and the stop 41 to allow the bead chain 5 to be installed to the stationary part 3 or the main driving set. The former way may easily lost the parts and cause the follow-on complicated and troublesome reassembly of the driving assembly, and the latter way may break the bead chain 5 by edge of the wall 32 and/or the stop 41. Taiwan Patent No. 360028, titled "bead chain wheel for curtain", discloses a conventional curtain driving assembly which installs the bead chain to the chain wheel when all parts are in the separated/unassembled status. The present invention intends to provide a curtain driving assembly which improves the shortcomings of the above mentioned conventional driving assembly. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a curtain driving assembly for a bead chain connected thereto and comprises a driving member and a cover. A chain wheel is installed to the driving member with limited movability relative to the driving member, and the bead chain is connected to the chain wheel. The chain wheel has a passage, and a shaft is pivotedly installed to the passage. The shaft has a mount portion. The cover has a cover face which has a hole with which the mount portion of the shaft is engaged. A wall is located around the hole so as to cover the bead chain. Preferably, the shaft has a first engaging portion formed on the mount portion, and a second engaging portion is formed on an inside of the hole of the cover. The second engaging portion is engaged with the first engaging portion. 2 Preferably, the first engaging portion of the shaft is a recess, and the second engaging portion of the cover is a protrusion which is engaged with the first engaging portion. Preferably, the first engaging portion is an annular groove. Preferably, the shaft has a head and a securing member is mounted to the head. A locking member connects the head and the securing member. The primary object of the present invention is to provide a curtain driving assembly wherein the bead chain is connected to the driving assembly after the driving assembly is initially assembled, without separating the parts of the driving assembly or bending the wall of the cover. The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. 1 is an exploded view to show the driving assembly of the present invention; Fig. 2 is a perspective view to show the driving assembly of the present invention, wherein the bead chain is connected to the main driving set including the driving member, chain wheel and shaft, and the cover is not yet connected thereto after the driving assembly is initially assembled; 3 Fig. 3 is an exploded view to show the cover and the main driving set with the bead chain of driving assembly of the present invention; Fig. 4 is a perspective view to show the driving assembly of the present invention; Fig. 5 is a partial cross sectional view of the driving assembly of the present invention, and Fig. 6 shows the conventional the driving assembly and the bead chain is to be connected to the driving assembly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT Referring to Fig. 1, the curtain driving assembly of the present invention comprises a driving member 1, and a chain wheel 11 is installed to the driving member 1. The chain wheel 11 defines a passage 111, which is preferably located in the driving member 1, and a shaft 12 pivotedly installed to the passage 111. The shaft 12 has a mount portion 13 and a head 14. The mount portion 13 of the shaft 12 has a first engaging portion 131. A securing member 141 is mounted to the head 14, and a locking member 142 fastens the head 14 to the securing member 141. A cover 2 has a cover face 21 located corresponding to the chain wheel 11. The cover face 21 has a hole 211, and a second engaging portion 212 is formed on the inside of the hole 211 of the cover 2. The second engaging portion 212 is engaged with the first engaging portion 131. In this embodiment, the first engaging portion 131 of the shaft 12 is a recess which is preferably annularly arranged around the shaft 12 as an 4 annular groove. The second engaging portion 212 of the cover 2 is a protrusion which is engaged with the first engaging portion 131. Alternatively, the first and second engaging portions 131, 212 are respectively a protrusion and a recess so as to engage with each other. Preferably, the engaging ways between the first and second engaging portions 131, 212 are not limited. A wall 22 is located around the hole 211. When assembling, referring to Figs. 1-5, the shaft 12 is pivotably connected to the passage 111 and the chain wheel 11, and the securing member 141 is connected to the head 14 of the shaft 12 and is secured by using the locking member 142. Under such arrangement, the initial assembled configuration of the curtain driving assembly is completed. Wherein, in the initial assembled configuration of the curtain driving assembly, the driving member 1, the chain wheel 11 and the shaft 12 are connected to form a main driving set. When installing the desired bead chain "A", the bead chain "A" is connected to the chain wheel I1 as shown in Fig. 2. Then, the hole 211 of the cover face 21 of the cover 2 is mounted to the mount portion 13 of the shaft 12 as shown in Fig. 3, so that the first engaging portion 131 is engaged with the second engaging portion 212 as shown in Figs. 4 and 5. The wall 22 of the cover 2 covers up the bead chain "A" and prevents the bead chain "A" from dropping from the chain wheel 11. It is noted that the bead chain "A" is installed to the chain wheel 11 after the initial assembled configuration of the curtain driving assembly is completed without repeatedly separating the parts of the driving assembly or bending the wall 22 of the cover 2 to install the bead chain "A". 5 While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. 6
