DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
The “up” and “down” directions referred to in the present specification is defined as follows: the up direction is defined as the direction going from the dispenser to the rewind handle while the down direction is defined as the direction going from the rewind handle to the dispenser. A device for winding and paying off line is provided in the present invention, wherein the device comprises a spool, a rewind handle connected with the upper end of the spool and a dispenser which inserts into the spool and plugs with the rewind handle by cooperated concave and convex components, and which is rotatable in radial direction and fixed in longitudinal direction; the dispenser comprises a main casing inserting into the spool, a cylindrical telescopic handle plugged in the main casing and a end cap connected with the lower end of the telescopic handle; the inner surface of the main casing is provided with a sliding component and a first locating element and a second locating element for locking-in the telescopic handle in a retracted position and an extended position respectively; the telescopic handle cooperates with the sliding component and slides between the retracted position and the extended position in the longitudinal direction.
Embodiment 1:
As shown in Figure 1, 2 and 3, the device in the embodiment 1 comprises a spool 1, a rewind handle 2 connected with the upper end of the spool 1 and a dispenser 3 which inserts into the spool 1 and plugs with the rewind handle 2 by cooperated concave and convex components. The spool 1 comprises a hollow column element 11 and two end faces 12, 13. The dispenser 3 comprises a main casing 31, a cylindrical telescopic handle 32 plugged in the main casing 31 and a end cap 33 connected with the lower end of the telescopic handle 32. The main casing 31 of the dispenser 3 inserts into the column element 11 and connects with the rewind handle 2 fixed at the upper end of the spool 1, so that the spool 1, the rewind handle 2 and the dispenser 3 are fixed in the longitudinal direction and rotatable about a same axis. As shown in Figure 4, Figure 4 is a three-dimension diagram for the device when the telescopic handle 32 is plugged in the dispenser 3. In this case, the appearance of the device is approximately cylindrical, which is similar to that of the spool in the prior art. Therefore, the device can be rolled on the floor for the transfer between two operators in a short distance, which is obviously convenient.
The spool 1 is for keeping the winded line in the present invention and can be made of varied materials such as plastics or alloy. In the embodiment 1, the spool 1 comprises a hollow column element 11 as well as an upper end face 12 and a lower end face 13 which are set symmetrically at both ends of the column element. Both end faces have an annular appearance and the same diameter. At least one socket 14 and preferably an even number of sockets extending in the longitudinal direction are arranged at the upper end of the column element 11 for the permanent connection between the spool 1 and the rewind handle 2. The appearance of the spool 1 is similar to that of the spool in the prior art. Thus, when the telescopic handle 32 is plugged in the dispenser 3, the device can be rolled freely on the floor.
The rewind handle 2 is connected with the upper end of the spool 1. Specifically, at least one inserting block 21 extending in the longitudinal direction is arranged on the outside surface at the lower end of the rewind handle. During the installation of the device, the inserting block 21 is inserted into the socket 14 of the spool 1 so as to achieve their permanent connection. In the present invention, the rewind handle 2 is used for promoting the winding process greatly. As shown in Figure 5, when the line is winded around the spool 1, the rewind handle 2 can be fixed manually (e.g. held by an operator) and rotated thereafter, then the spool 1 fixed to the rewind handle 2 can be rotated together and finally the line can be winded onto the column element 11 of the spool 1. Compared with the winding process by means of the spool in the prior art, the process above is obviously more convenient.
The dispenser 3 is the key component for the device in the present invention. It comprises a main casing 31, a telescopic handle 32 plugged in the main casing 31 and an end cap 33 connected with the lower end of the telescopic handle 32. Among them, the main casing 31 comprises an integrated sleeve 311 and a baseboard 312; the sleeve 311 is a hollow cylinder with a closed upper end and an open lower end and the telescopic handle 32 is plugged in it. During the installation of the device (Figure 6), the sleeve 311 passes through the column element 11 of the spool land plugs with the rewind handle 2 by cooperated concave and convex components. After the installation, the baseboard 312 contacts with the lower end face 13 of the spool 1 closely.
In order to fix the dispenser 3 and the rewind handle 2 in the longitudinal direction, a convex component i.e. a projection 313 is arranged on the outside surface at the upper end of the sleeve 311. During the installation of the device, the projection 313 inserts into a concave component i.e. a groove 22 arranged in the inner surface at the lower end of the rewind handle so as to achieve their connection. The groove 22 in the rewind handle is an annular groove in its inner surface. After the projection 313 inserts into the groove 22, there is still certain gap in the groove and the projection 313 can rotate along the groove 22, thus realizing the rotation of dispenser 3 and the rewind handle 2.
Referring to Figure 3, in order to achieve the sliding of the telescopic handle 32, at least two sliding tracks 314 (six sliding tracks in the embodiment 1) are symmetrically arranged on the inner surface of the sleeve 311 at intervals as the sliding component. Correspondingly, at least two sliding elements are arranged on the telescopic handle to cooperate with the sliding tracks. As shown in Figure 2, the sliding element is composed of two sliders 321; a sliding gap is formed between the two sliders 321 and the sliding track 314 can insert into the sliding gap to slide in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, the sliding of the telescopic handle 32 is realized. When the telescopic handle 32 has slide from the dispenser 3, it can be used as the fixing end of the device and brings convenience for the winding and paying-off processes.
Furthermore, a first locating element and a second locating element are provided for locking-in the telescopic handle in a retracted position and an extended position, respectively.
In order to lock-in the telescopic handle in its retracted position, the first locating element comprises a first limited groove 317 arranged at the upper end of the sleeve as well as a limited block 323 and two limited grooves 322 correspondingly arranged at the upper end of the telescopic handle 32. As shown in Figure 2, the limited block 323 is located between the two limited grooves 322 and an inverted U-shaped structure is formed by the limited block 323 and two limited grooves 322 thereafter. When the telescopic handle 32 is pushed back, the limited block 323 clamps in the first limited groove 317, thus locking the retracted position of the telescopic handle 32.
Furthermore, the locking of the telescopic handle in its retracted position can be implemented in another way. In another example, the first locating element comprises at least two L-shaped second limited projections 319 arranged on the lower surface of the end plate 318 and an annular projection 324 (as shown in Figure 8) correspondingly arranged on the upper end of the telescopic handle 32. In this case, a second limited groove is formed between the second limited projection 319 and the end plate 318. When the telescopic handle 32 is pushed back, the annular projection 324 clamps in the second limited groove, thus locking the retracted position of the telescopic handle 32.
When the telescopic handle 32 is in its extended position, it has slide from the sleeve 311 and reach to its maximum extent of sliding. Referring to Figure 2 and 3, in order to lock-in the telescopic handle in its extended position, the second locating element comprises a first locking projection 315 arranged on the inner surface at the lower end of the sleeve 311, a second locking projection 316 arranged on the lower end of the sleeve 311 and integrated with the sliding track 314, as well as a locking block 325 correspondingly arranged at the upper end of the telescopic handle 32 and adjacent to the limited block 323. As shown in Figure 3, a locking groove is formed between the first and second locking projections 315, 316. When the telescopic handle 32 is pulled out, the locking block 325 clamps in the locking groove. Therefore, the extended position of the telescopic handle is locked. When the telescopic handle 32 has been in its extended position, the end of the slider gets in touch with the second locking projection, thus further preventing the telescopic handle 32 from dropping out of the sleeve 311. As shown in Figure 7, Figure 7 is a three-dimension diagram for the device for winding and paying off line when the telescopic handle has slide from the dispenser. The projected telescopic handle is easy to be controlled manually and can enhance the convenience of the operations. When there is no need to use the telescopic handle 32, the locking projection can be pushed out of the locking gap and the telescopic handle 32 can be pushed back into the sleeve 311 hereafter.
In another example, the main casing 31 is a hollow cylinder with a closed upper end and an open lower end. The telescopic handle 32 is plugged in it. During the installation of the device, the main casing 31 passes through the column element 11 of the spool land plugs with the rewind handle 2 by cooperated concave and convex components.
The telescopic handle 32 is a cylindrical component plugged in the main casing 31. In the embodiment 1, it is a hollow cylinder with openings at both ends; the end cap 33 connected with its lower end is for preventing against any dirt. Obviously, the telescopic handle can be made into a solid cylinder as well, in which case the end cap can be omitted. During the keeping and transportation, the telescopic handle 32 is usually plugged in the main casing 31 to save storage and shipping space.
As mentioned above, the operation of the telescopic handle of the device in the present invention can be described as follows:
State 1: When the device is used for laying the line, the telescopic handle 32 is first pulled out from the first limited groove 317 or the second limited groove to slide in the sleeve 311;
State 2: The sliding track 314 inserts into the sliding gap to make the telescopic handle 32 slide in the sleeve 311 in the longitudinal direction;
State 3: When the telescopic handle 32 has reached its maximum position in the sleeve 311, the telescopic handle 32 is further pulled to make the locking block 325 clamps in the locking groove; therefore the extended position of the telescopic handle 32 is locked;
State 4: When there is no need to use the device, the telescopic handle 32 is pushed in from the locking groove to slide in the sleeve 311.
Since it is needed to use a cutting tool to cut the line during paying-off process, it is advantageous in the present invention to further provide a cutter 4 on the lower surface of the baseboard 312. After the paying-off operation, the line can be cut immediately by the usage of the integrated cutter 4.
At least one opening 5 extending in the radial direction can be further provided on the upper end face 12 of the spool 1. From such opening 5, the information including the color and amount of the line winded on the column element 11 of the spool 1 can be obtained.
One nick 6 for fixing the terminal of the line can be further provided at the edge of the upper end face 32 of the spool 1. With the nick 6, the line can be prevented from getting loose and becoming dirty thereafter. In order to fix the terminal of the line substantially, the nick 6 is preferable a structure with a reducing aperture in the radial direction.
Besides, a spirit level device 7 can be further installed in the telescopic handle32. The spirit level device 7 comprises a spirit level 71, a spirit level casing 72 and two hangers for spirit level fixed at both ends of the spirit level casing 72. Such structure is advantageous since the spirit level is usually used in the construction process. There is no need to take along a separate spirit level. An annular projection is arranged in the telescopic handle 32 at its upper end to limit the position of the spirit level device 7.
Embodiment 2:
As shown in Figure 8, Figure 8 is a structure diagram for the device for winding and paying off line in the embodiment 2 of the present invention. The device in the embodiment 2 comprises a spool 1, a rewind handle 2 connected with the upper end of the spool 1 and a dispenser 3 which inserts into the spool 1 and plugs with the rewind handle 2 by cooperated concave and convex components. The dispenser 3 comprises a main casing 31 inserting into the spool 1, a cylindrical telescopic handle 32 plugged in the main casing 31 and a end cap 33 connected with the lower end of the telescopic handle 32. The inner surface of the main casing 31 is provided with a sliding component, and a first locating element and a second locating element for locking-in the telescopic handle 32 in a retracted position and an extended position respectively. The telescopic handle 32 cooperates with the sliding component and slides between the retracted position and the extended position in the longitudinal direction.
The dispenser 3 is the key component for the device in the present invention. It comprises a main casing 31, a telescopic handle 32 plugged in the main casing 31 and an end cap 33 connected with the lower end of the telescopic handle 32. Among them, the main casing 31 comprises an integrated sleeve 311 and a baseboard 312. The telescopic handle 32 comprises a first handle 323 and a second handle 324 sleeve-jointed in the first handle 323. The second handle 324 can also slide in the longitudinal direction. In fact, depending on the need of the construction worker, the telescopic handle 32 can be manufactured to comprise more than two handles. Besides, a cutter is provided on the lower surface of the baseboard 312. At least one opening 5 extending in the radial direction is provided on the upper end face 12 of the spool 1. One nick 6 for fixing the terminal of the line is arranged at the edge of the upper end face 32 of the spool 1. A spirit level device 7 is installed in the second handle32.
The operation principles of the device in the embodiment 2 are the same as those in the embodiment 1, which will not be repeated here.
While the present invention has been described with reference to certain embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes may be made and equivalents may be substituted without departing from the scope of the present invention. In addition, many modifications may be made to adapt a particular situation or material to the teachings of the present invention without departing from its scope.
