Field of the Invention 5 The present invention relates to a child high chair, and more particularly, to a child high chair having a detachable footrest. 2. Description of the Prior Art A conventional child high chair is characterized not only in functions, such 10 as convenient operation and high safety standard, but aesthetic design. Generally, the conventional child high chair includes a footrest, for supporting feet of the child comfortably. As the child's growing gradually, the fixing-positioned footrest of the conventional child high chair can not fit to the increasing height of the child. Thus, design of a child high chair capable of fitting growing children is 15 an important issue of the child appliance industry. Summary of the Invention The present invention provides a child high chair having a detachable footrest for solving above drawbacks. 20 According to the claimed invention, a child high chair includes a supporting frame, a seat disposed on the supporting frame for holding a child, and a leg-rest mechanism connected to the seat. The leg-rest mechanism includes a downward plate whereon at least one first slot is formed, and a footrest whereon a second 25 slot is formed, the second slot being for engaging with the first slot on the downward plate so that the footrest is detachably fixed on the downward plate. According to the claimed invention, a plurality of first slots is formed on the downward plate, and the second slot on the footrest is selectively engaged with 30 the corresponding first slot for adjusting a distance between the footrest and the seat.
2 The child high chair of the present invention has a detachable footrest mechanism, The distance between the footrest and the seat can be adjusted conforming to the child's growing (such as the increasing of the height and the leg's length), so the child can put the feet on the footrest (the pedal) comfortably 5 when sitting on the child high chair of the present invention. These and other objectives of the present invention will no doubt become obvious to those of ordinary skill in the art after reading the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment that is illustrated in the various figures 10 and drawings. Brief Description of the Drawings FIG.1 is an exploded diagram of a child high chair according to an embodiment of the present invention. 15 FGI.2 is an assembly diagram of the child high chair according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG.3 is a diagram of a downward plate according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG.4 and FIG.5 are diagrams of a footrest in different views according to 20 the embodiment of the present invention. FIG.6 is an assembly diagram of the downward plate and the footrest according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG.7 is a diagram of the downward plate and the footrest according to another embodiment of the present invention. 25 Detailed Description Please refer to FIG.1 and FIG.2. FIG.1 is an exploded diagram of a child high chair 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG.2 is an assembly diagram of the child high chair 10 according to the embodiment of the 30 present invention. A distance between a footrest and a seat of the child high chair 10 can be adjusted according to a height or legs' length of a child, so that the child can put feet on the footrest comfortably when sitting on the child high chair. The child high chair 10 includes a supporting frame 12 and a seat 14. The seat 14 3 is disposed on the supporting frame 12, and a babysitter can take care of the child conveniently as a height of the seat 14 relative to the supporting frame 12 is adjusted according to the size of the child. The seat 14 includes a main body 15, and a leg-rest mechanism 16 connected to a front side of the main body 15. 5 Please refer to FIG.3 to FIG.5. FIG.3 is a diagram of the downward plate 18 according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG.4 and FIG.5 are diagrams of the footrest 20 in different views according to the embodiment of the present invention. Please refer to Fig.2, 3, 4 and 5, the leg-rest mechanism 16 10 includes the downward plate 18 whereon at least one first slot 181 is formed, and a footrest 20 whereon at least one second slot 201 is formed. For example, the footrest 20 can be a pedal. Generally, a plurality of first slots 181 can be formed on the downward plate 18, and the downward plate 18 can be fixed on the main body 15, or can be pivotably connected to the main body 15. The second slot 201 15 on the footrest 20 can be engaged with the corresponding first slot 181 on the downward plate 18 for adjusting the distance between the footrest 20 and the main body 15 conforming to the height or the leg's length of the child. Please refer to FIG.6, FIG.6 is an assembly diagram of the downward plate 20 18 and the footrest 20 according to the embodiment of the present invention. Preferably, the downward plate 18 of the present invention can includes two or three first slots 181 for adjusting height of the footrest 20. As shown in FIG.3, 4 and 5, three first slots 181 can be formed on the downward plate 18, a length Li of each first slot 181 can substantially be equal to a half width W1of the 25 downward plate 18, and a width W2 of each first slot 181 can substantially be equal to a thickness T1 of the footrest 20. As shown in FIG.4 and FIG.5, a length L2 of the second slot 201 can substantially be equal to a half length L3 of the footrest 20, and a width W3 of the second slot 201 can substantially be equal to a thickness T2 of the downward plate 18. The first slot 181 can include a first 30 opening 182 formed on a lateral side of the downward plate 18, and the second slot 201 can include a second opening 202 formed on a lateral side of the footrest 20, so that the footrest 20 can be crossed with the downward plate 18 by aligning the first opening 182 with the second opening 202 for engaging the first slot 181 4 with the second slot 201. In addition, a contacting portion 203 (as shown in FIG.5) can be disposed on a bottom surface 22 of the footrest 20 for contacting against a front surface 184 of the downward plate 18 when the footrest 20 is fixed on the downward plate 18, so as to increase loading strength of the footrest 20 for 5 supporting the child. An amount and disposal of the first slot 181 on the downward plate 18 of the present invention are not limited to the above mentioned embodiment, and depend on design demand. It should be mentioned that lengths of the first slot 181 and the second slot 10 201 may not be half lengths of the downward plate 18 and the footrest 20, respectively. Please refer to FIG.7. FIG.7 is a diagram of the downward plate 18 and the footrest 20 according to another embodiment of the present invention. Because the width of the downward plate 18 can substantially be equal to the length of the footrest 20, a sum of the length of the first slot 181 and the length of 15 the second slot 201 can substantially be equal to the width of the downward plate 18 (or the length of the footrest 20) in this embodiment as shown in FIG.7. For example, the length L4 of the first slot 181 can be equal to one third of the width W4 of the downward plate 18, and the length L5 of the second slot 201 can be equal to two thirds of the length L6 of the footrest 20, so that the lateral side 24 of 20 the footrest 20 can align with the lateral side 186 of the downward plate 18 when the footrest 20 is crossed with the downward plate 18 (as shown in FIG.1). The present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, for example, the other lateral side 24 of the footrest 20 is unnecessary to align with the lateral side 186 of the downward plate 18. 25 Furthermore, as shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2, the supporting frame 12 can include a first leg 121, a second leg 123 and a folding mechanism 125. The folding mechanism 125 is connected between the first leg 121 and the second leg 123 for folding the second leg 123 relative to the first leg 121, so as to minimize 30 volume of the child high chair 10. The main body 15 of the seat 14 can include a seat portion 151, and a backrest 153 disposed on a rear edge of the seat portion 151. The child high chair 10 can further include a tray 22 disposed on the supporting frame 12. The backrest 153 and the tray 22 can constrain the child 5 when the child sits on the seat portion 151 for preventing the child from falling from the seat 14. Comparing to the prior art, the child high chair of the present invention has 5 a detachable footrest mechanism. The distance between the footrest and the seat can be adjusted conforming to the child's growing (such as the increasing of the height and the leg's length), so the child can put the feet on the footrest (the pedal) comfortably when sitting on the child high chair of the present invention. 10 Those skilled in the art will readily observe that numerous modifications and alterations of the device and method may be made while retaining the teachings of the invention. 15
