Abstract
Abstract A solar air conditioning system that uses a solar thermal collector panel connected between a compressor and condenser in a condensed vapour air conditioning system, to heat and expand refrigerant after it has been compressed and before it enters the condenser coil. The solar thermal panel is mounted integrally in the condenser body so that the distance between the collector and the condenser is eliminated. In the present system no additional space or wall mounting is required for the solar panel and hence confusion in connecting panel into the circuit of the system is eliminated.
