Description
1 Description Foam cutting pad The foam cutting pad is a solid and air rated, flexible light foam matt that can be maunufactured in different sizes ( lenght,width and depth.) The foam cutting pad is basically designed and structured so thin to thicker sheets of alternative material (substrates) can be laid over the foam cutting pads top side for an easy accessible jig saw and circular saw cutting base. Its method of function is that whilst a substrate is placed over the top of the foam cutting pad the blade of the cutting tool will cut through the substrate and on the underside of the substrate pass freely without friction through the foam cutting pad and without touching the underside of the foam cutting pad, allowing it to be placed virtually anywhere for cutting use. Being of a solid but air rated nature the foam cutting pad will also provide stabillity for the substrare that is to be cut, especially thin substrates;(2mm laminates,3mm mdf and 1mm plastics to name a few.). Many different substrates can be cut on the foam cutting pad allowing a thickness range of 0.05mm to 100mm to be cut on the foam cutting pad. The efficiency of the foam cutting pad is second to none purely because its designed to stay intact, this works well because its innovation is that it sits deeper than the lenght of the cutting blade not allowing the cutting blade enough reach to cut all the way through the foam cutting pad also enabling multiple cuts in the same position.The foam cutting pad can 2 be made up of many different recycled materials. Stability ,control and ease are the foundations of safety when working with power tools, the foam cutting pad provides all these elements in one with its innovative design, concept and use.
