Abstract
Abstract The indoor/outdoor portable transparent projection screens with its adhesive projection film can display front and reveres simultaneously for film, animation, moving images, and animation posters in range of weather such as rain and wind. The screen's adhesive projection film can display the above described in high ambient lighting, artificial lighting, and bright daylight throughout the day and night. The projection screens with its hinges can be mounted onto shopfronts, buildings, walls, bridges, motor vehicles, and water vessels. The said projection screen is comprised of square hollow section steels, hinges, stainless steels, polycarbonates, and an adhesive projection films which can be removed for reuse. Description
Australia Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT THE INDOOR/OUTDOOR PORTABLE TRANSPARENT PROJECTION SCREENS FOR DAYTIME AND NIGHT TIME USE The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method performing it: Front page 1 of 9 TERRANCE DU The indoor/outdoor portable transparent projection screens for daytime and night time use. For many years projection screens and general screens have been restricted to operating indoor, outdoors, its size, weight, and most do not allow removal of its parts for reuse. Previously projection screens could not be mounted on other surfaces and operates in range of weather conditions such as rain and wind. This invention can operate indoors, outdoors, day and night in a range of weather conditions including rain and wind. It can be removed and mounted onto shopfronts, buildings, walls, bridges, motor vehicles, water vessels, and other applicable surfaces. The screen's adhesive projection film allows the display film, moving images, stills images, and animated posters to be clearly viewed in high ambient lighting, artificial lighting, bright daylight in open space, and at nights. It also can be made to almost any sizes. Marketing companies are still restricted to lenticular screens to create animations, and moving images and can only display front-on. The said projection screens can display in front view and reveres simultaneously for films, moving images, still images, and animated posters for interesting viewing and creativity. The projection screen is used for marketing, advertising, and general entertainment; a large size is therefore desirable for viewing purposes. The projection screen is made from; e two sheets of transparent material called polycarbonate. - adhesive rear projection film; and - Square hollow section steel frame. Polycarbonate allows for front or rear projection, and is suitable for day and night viewing. The moving image can be viewed on this projection screen in a range of weather conditions, including rain. The projection screens can be installed onto shopfronts, buildings, walls, bridges, or may be left freestanding. The projection screen is easily portable and this makes it flexible for multipurpose usage, as described above. In addition, an option of non-reflective adhesive film can be applied to the front of the screen to further deflect the sun and artificial lights. Other suitable transparent materials that can be used for the screens are: acrylics, plastics, and glasses to allow for front and rear projection. Suitable materials for the frame are steels, stainless steels, metals, woods, acrylics, plastics, and polycarbonates. Page 2 of 9 TERRANCE DU The rear projection adhesive film is applied to one of the polycarbonate sheets. The second identical size polycarbonate sheet is then applied to the non-stick surface of the adhesive film stuck onto the first polycarbonate sheet, creating a sandwich effect. Then silicone glue is applied all around the sides where the two polycarbonate sheets meet for water proofing. The square hollow section steel frame is placed in front of the polycarbonate sheet with stainless steel wrapped around all sides of the materials creating a 5cm frame front and back for screen presentation, viewing, and water resistance. The frame is fixed with rivets to hold all the materials together. The stainless steel frame is variable according to size and weight. Page 3 Of 9 TERRANCE DU
