Abstract

The present invention relates to the use of recycled coffee grounds produced by cafes and normally be sent to landfill, to produce a produce a highly sustainable, nutrient rich plant and ground fertiliser. The used coffee grounds are put through a cleansing process to remove contaminants, then dried and other organic elements added. The product is then bagged using bio-degradable packaging and delivered to consumers. Coffee grounds have high nitrogen levels which are released slowly, providing long term nitrogen intake for plants and gardens. They also contain other key elements such as phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and copper and are recognised as a natural deterrent to garden pests.

Description

1 Description ???????????? EspressOgrow recycles coffee grounds and through a unique process, produces a highly sustainable, nutrient rich plant and ground fertiliser. ???????????? The benefits of coffee grounds as a garden fertiliser has been promoted for many years - "Use of the coffee grounds at the specified incorporation.... will substantially improve availabilities of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and copper and will probably negate the need for chemical sources of these plant essential elements" (Soil and Plant Laboratory, WA) ???????????? Coffee Grounds have high nitrogen levels, a key component of healthy plant growth. Coffee Grounds releases nitrogen slowly, providing long term nitrogen intake for plants and gardens. ???????????? It also contains other key elements such as phosporus, potassium, magnesium and copper. ???????????? Its recognised as a natural deterrent to pests within the garden.
