Description

Australian Patents Act 1990 - Regulation 3.2 Australian Government Original Complete Specification 11PAustralia Standard Patent Subject to the provisions of the Patents Act. information provided on this form may be made publicly available, including on the Internet. Invention Title , INDO-OR Solar powered children and audit bed side lamp-and torch th ic imer The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing known to me: My Invention is a Solar powered INDOOR bed side lam with a on button and a dial timer that can be set to turn off automatically after 90 seconds and up to 3 hours, It is powered by a 12 volt 1.3 amp_( sla fllycased battery._It has a current limiter that only charges the battery to it is fully charged but not overcharng. Also it is only operational when the solarq nel is not receiving any sun or you unplug it from the lamp at the base. The solar panel is 10 watt 120 ma 300mm x 360mm in dimension and has suction cups that adhere to the window. The reson for a 10 watt solar panel is on a very cloudy day it will still charge the 12 volt battery. it has a 2 meter cord that pl ugs into the base of the lamp. And can be unplugged and used as a quide torch in case of mains power failure The light bulb is a 18 LED 12v glob and fits into a bayonet. The base is ceramic and the shade is made fromplastic_ The-_ shell for the prototype is a prefabricated lamp base and shade. The Battery and the timing circuit and current limiter are all tucked into the base. I will draw a diagram to the best of my knowledge. and have some photos of the lamp in action and with the hardware exposed in a picture. My invention is to help cut power bills but more importantly have a safe and fully free night light that parents can leave on for there children to fall asleep and with ample ight_ to view the hole room but not to keep you awake. Parts used are 1/ prefabricated base and shade and a 2/ FK406 0-3Hour Timer Switch This 12V powered switch is capable of handling 300W at 240VAC. A potentiometer adjusts the time from 0-3hrs ,power supply! 2 v consumption 45ma max ,adj timer potentiometer max load 10a@125vac and 5a@220vac, PCB dimensions 2.95x1.7 inches kit form from kitstop 3/ 12 volt PV controller by power tech model number is MP3128 of the shelf from iaycar current limiter ) 4/12 volt 18 LED staggered bulb 5/ A 12 volt Bayonet 6/ A 12 volt 10 watt solar panel 7/ A 2 meter cord Thanks Anthony Collins )0011 (0709) -Pagel of 2 ABN 38 113 072 755
