Description

AUSTRALIA Patent Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT CARE DEVICE The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method it known to me: The invention, patent application No.2007248427 is described in the following statement: I CARE DEVICE The Patent application 2008906409, 2009901729 relates to health oriented invention, household operated by compressed air. Air compressor is driven by renewable solar energy direct current (DC), or wind turbine, geothermal, biomass and hydropower. Household is 5 free of electric wiring (AC), alternating current (AC), free of electromagnetic field radiation (AC) and (DC/AC) inverter. Air compressor converting air into usable compressed form, stored in bank of air tanks providing 24h/day year round for household appliances and emergencies such as fire and floods. Compressed air household system and method combination is safe, reliable and provides flexibility in speed and motion control. Mixing 10 air/water results in reduction of water consumption. The invention is using law of physics, air heats up being compressed and air cools down when expanding. Both heat and cold are used for household air conditioning and water heating. Household system and method combination of heat exchanger, exhaust from engine is cold and Vortex tubes provide hot and cold air system and method combination, provides the right cooling and heating 15 temperature to satisfy the individual person. Instead to heat up, or cool down the whole air volume of household, heated, or cooled air is economically directed, flowing through jackets, chairs, sleeping blankets and underlays, adjustable to the right temperature. Present invention presents healthy human habitat. The air compressor air intake has filter to reduce carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and other air impurities. During emergencies such 20 as fire, compressed air is available 24h/day year round for fire fighting. Fire container having a diaphragm filled with fire fighting agent, pressurised by air, is forced to discharge fire fighting agent means rooftop over household and other buildings, installing a thermal barrier blanket. The fire fighting agent is foam, or sticky dust, or other material. During floods, household sealed with air pressurised over atmospheric, keeps flood water under 25 control, with air pump, air tools and air machinery working, even submerged. The solar panels produce current (DC). Most of the electronics, including computers, printers, scanners, DVDs, fluorescent LED lighting work on DC, direct current. The invention eliminates the energy wasting (DC/AC) inverter. The solar panel DC powers Care Device electronics and lighting. Presently, there is a problem that the manufacturers of electronics 30 are using different (DC) voltages. Therefore a (DC/DC) voltage rectifier is required. Future standardised voltage for electronics and lighting, would made (DC/DC) voltage rectifier abandoned. FIG.1, schematically illustrate household system and method combination expressed in world for world, with the fire container and diaphragm inside, filled with the fire fighting 35 agent, located at the level of the air compressor. FIG.2, schematically illustrates household system and method combination expressed in world for world, with the fire container and diaphragm inside, filled with fire fighting agent located at rooftop.
2 FIG.3 shows household system and method combination, divided into four sections supplying electric direct current (DC), means collector 10. The solar panel (DC) wiring 11, powers (DC) engine 12 air compressor 13. Air compressor 13 with filter 13/1 for reduction of CO, C0 2 , bacteria, viruses ) and impurities. The (DC) sockets 6,7,8,9 at wall 3, for (DC) lighting electronics and TV. Under 5 crises by failure of solar energy, or inadequacy, the air compressor 13 is powered by any means available, filtering intake air 13/1. Household's living and sleeping sections B and section C, are adequately shielded and grounded. The produced compressed air is stored in a receiver bank, of air tanks 14. Produced heat of air compressor 13 is utilized by either liquid or fluid. Liquid uses heat exchanger 15; liquid enters through inlet 18 cools the air 10 compressor 13, divider 16 and expansion chamber 17 and outlet 21 for hot water and winter heating. In addition to FIG.3, FIG.4 shows bank of a 5 number of air tanks 25/1, 25/2, 25/3. The number of air tanks is dependent on air volume. FIG.5 fire container 26 with diaphragm 26/1 inside, filled with fire fighting agent, is located at the level of air compressor 13. FIG 4. Roof section A is covered by photovoltaic solar panels 1+2. FIG. 4, section B and section C show household wall 4 with air outlet, self closing, quick coupling sockets 29 and 30. The connection to the household appliances is by 10 means of an air tube, attached to the appliances with its one end and with the other end, is a quick coupling plug fitting the self-closing quick coupling sockets 29, 30, more if necessary. Compressed air is released towards the household appliances by actuated on/off valve. FIG.4 sections D and E of household are safe, reinforced and shielded 23, protecting the household occupants, as the last resort, during the bush fire infernos. The (DC) powered 15 electromotor in section D, is coupled to air compressor 13, producing high pressure up to 300 bars of compressed air. There are two options: a/ solar panels, wind turbines, geothermal, hydropower (DC) option is preferable, with the (DC) renewable energy powering the electromotor 12, driving an oil-less air compressor 13. Option b/ for crisis, during renewable energy power failure, or inadequacy of power, other means of energy is 20 powering the air compressor 13. FIG.4, section E, shows three air tanks 25/1, 25/2, 25/3, for storing compressed air up to 300 bars, produced by the air compressor 13. The drawing shows three air tanks. The number of air tanks is dependent on air volume and the air compressor capacity. The only limit is the capacity of the air compressor 13 and place for the air tanks available. The air tanks 25/1, 25 25/2, 25/3 are interconnected, by tube 20. The compressed are of up to 300 bars pressure is reduced means a reducer-four-way-valve 31, to about 8 bars working air pressure to the air outlet tubing 21, to power the household appliances. The about 85% heat during the air compression is used for heating and hot water system, as described in FIG.3, FIG.4 and FIG.5. 30 During bush fire infernos, the household occupants are safe, within the reinforced, shielded rooms of FIG.4 section D and E. The reducer-four-way valve 31, reduces the highly compressed air of up to 300 bars of the air tanks 25/1, 25/2, 25/3, for the occupants breathing cold air, at outlet 32. In accordance to household bushfire statistics, many homes are lost in bushfires burned 35 from the inside out. Fire enters through roof tiles, broken glass windows and doors. Household shutters are helpful to protect windows. Bushfire ignite homes by radiant heat, convection and embers. Large amount of water requires for fire fighting. Without a large water reservoir, water sprinkler system is inadequate. The experience demonstrated that during intensive bushfires, there is often failure of power lines, no electricity in household 4 and to have a handy, good maintained petrol, or diesel generator ready for emergency, to operate the electric water pump, or find a fuel water pump, is not easy task. The machineries outside the house are often burned by the extreme heat. The present invention household is driven by compressed air, from air tanks, ready 24h/day round year. For most 5 appliances, including air driven water pump, air tools and air machinery. The electric grid of 240/400 volt (AC) is not required. FIG.5 shows household container 26, located at level of air compressor 13, with diaphragm 26/0 filled with foam system HAT CAFM. Foam/water is either mixed, or pre-mixed. By opening the reducer-four-way valve 31, the compressed air via duct 34, pressurises the foam within diaphragm 26/0 of container 26. By turning level 33, 10 compressed air, via the riser 27, is forced into container 26, squeezing diaphragm 26/0 and discharging foam system HAT CAFM (or other systems), by means of orifices 28/1, 28/2, 28/3, 28/4, 28/5, to form thermal barrier cover over household and other buildings. The number or orifices are dependent on the capacity of the system. FIG.5 shows five sprinklers. Foam from sprinklers 28/1, 28/2, 28/3, 28/4, 28/5, is sprayed over the house solar panels, 15 roof tiles, walls and has the capacity to save household by thermal barrier cover fighting the fire. Alternatively, within the container 26 and diaphragm 26/1 is sticky dry chemical, instead of foam/water. The advantage of dry chemicals is that they are storable and usable, over a long period of time. The container 26 of fire fighting agent is located within the household, high, or low, or on the roof. 20 FIG.6 schematically illustrates an arm chair, having individually controlled air conditioning. Utilized heat produced by air compression and cold of exhaust of applications, or engine, or Vortex tubes, means a blower 40, speed and intensity of heating and cooling adjustable, flows means outlets 41 and 42, loosely attached to the arm chair, or sofa, or suit. The system permits individual adjustment of heating and cooling to the personal preference. 25 Compared to the traditional air conditioner, cooler or heater, loss of energy, as the whole volume of room volume is heated, or cooled. The present invention system and method is an energy saviour, heat, or cold air flows through flexible hoses 41, 42 and is directed towards the place used by people, with adjustable intensity of heating, or cooling, adjustable to individual comfort. The present invention of FIG.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, during floods, if 30 household sealed, air released from the bank of air tanks, would increase household atmospheric pressure to keep the flood water under control, assisted by air operated pump, air tools and air machinery, working even submerged.
