Description
A MOUNTING PLATE Technical Field The invention relates to a mounting plate, especially for fastening a hinge to a 5 furniture body, comprising a bottom part that can be fixed to a furniture body, with an upper part being retained on said bottom part in a displaceable manner. Background DE 94 09 459 discloses a fastening plate for fixing a hinge arm, in which a base plate 10 and a covering cover plate are provided. The base plate comprises lateral webs which engage in respective recesses in the cover plate and thus form a guide. The base plate can be fixed to the furniture body and the cover plate is displaceable via an eccentric. As long as the eccentric is arranged in a middle region, the cover plate is displaceable. However, there is mostly no space for installing an eccentric in a middle region of the 15 mounting plate, so that the same has to be arranged on an end section of the mounting plate. This construction can then lead to jamming which makes the displacement more difficult. The guides have unfavourable guide properties in a narrow component, so that guide air and tolerances are noticed to a considerable extent. 20 DE 290 06 086 discloses a mounting plate for fastening a hinge arm, in which a support plate is held in a displaceable manner on the mounting plate. The support plate can be displaced along pins by turning an eccentric which ensure secure guidance. The arrangement of such a mounting plate is relatively complex and has a large number of components. 25 It is therefore the advantage of the present invention to provide a mounting plate which enables a secure position of an upper part relative to a bottom part and has a simple configuration. 30 This advantage is achieved with a mounting plate with the features of claim 1. In one embodiment the invention provides a mounting plate for fastening a hinge to a furniture body, comprising: a bottom part that can be fixed to a furniture body and upon which an upper part is restrained in an adjustable manner, wherein the bottom 35 part is connected to the upper part via two levers of equal length which, when the 5620116 1 (GHMatters) P84497.AU TERUNI -2 upper part is being adjusted relative to the bottom part, form a parallelogram guide which enables displacement of the upper part relative to the bottom part while the bottom part and upper part remain oriented parallel to one another, wherein each lever is connected, on opposite sides, to a joint at its end, the bottom part has a central 5 crosspiece, which can be secured to a furniture body, and one lever of the parallelogram guide is arranged on either side of the central crosspiece, the levers are connected to one another via a bracket portion and the upper part is secured on the bracket portion, wherein the levers are connected to the central crosspiece in each case via first joints and to the bracket portion in each case via second joints 10 In accordance with the invention, both levers form the parallelogram guide in the displacement of the upper part relative to the bottom part. This parallelogram guide ensures that a precise displacement of the upper part relative to the bottom part is enabled, with such guidance being low in wear and tear and depending only to a marginal extent on production tolerances. Such a parallelogram guide can be arranged 15 in an especially stable manner. In accordance with another embodiment of the invention, there is provided a mounting plate for fastening a hinge to a furniture body, comprising: a lower part that can be fixed to a furniture body and upon which an upper part is restrained in an 20 adjustable manner; wherein the lower part is connected to the upper part via two levers of equal length which, when the upper part is being adjusted relative to the lower part, form a parallelogram guide, the parallelogram guide enabling displacement of the upper part relative to the lower part while the lower part and upper part remain oriented parallel to one another; wherein the lower part has a 25 central crosspiece, which is securable to the furniture body, and the two levers of the parallelogram guide are arranged on opposing sides of the central crosspiece, the two levers being connected to one another via a bracket portion and the upper part being secured on the bracket portion, wherein each of the two levers are connected to the central crosspiece via a first joint, and to the bracket portion via a second joint. 30 The levers are connected with joints at their ends and as a result of the connection of the upper part with the section of the bottom part, a displacement of the upper part relative to the bottom part is made possible, with the upper part and the bottom part remaining in parallel alignment with each other. Preferably, the two levers are 35 arranged integrally with the bottom part, so that only a low number of components are required. The joints can also be arranged by flexible sections which are arranged integrally with the bottom part. The parallelogram guide with the joints and levers is thus integrated in an integral manner in the bottom part. It is obviously also possible to arrange the parallelogram guide with the levers and joints in an integral manner 40 with the upper part. 5620116 1 (GHMatters) P84497.AU TERUNI -3 In a further embodiment, the bottom part may comprise a middle web which can be fixed to a furniture body, and on each side of the middle web one lever of the parallelogram guide is arranged. A displacement mechanism can thus be realised in a 5 simple way which can be moved in opposite directions. The upper part may remain aligned parallel to the bottom part when at least two mutually spaced fastening means are provided on the bracket section for fixing the upper part. In some embodiments, the lever and bracket section may encompass the middle web 10 in a U-shaped manner, with a certain gap being provided between the middle web and the levers and the bracket section. This bracket can then be increased or reduced in the displacement of the upper part in order to align the upper part in the desired position. A rotatable eccentric may be provided in order to enable simple and rapid 15 displacement of upper and bottom part relative to one another. This rotatable eccentric can be arranged on the middle web of the bottom part on the side opposite of the bracket section, i.e. an end section of the mounting plate, so that the remaining area of the mounting plate can be used for fixing a hinge arm or further component. 20 A guide with an elongated hole and a pin protruding into the same, may be provided between the upper part and the bottom part for exact guidance. Brief Description of the Drawings The invention will be explained below by reference to an embodiment shown in the 25 enclosed drawings, wherein: Fig. 1 shows a perspective exploded view of a mounting plate in accordance with one embodiment of the invention; Figs. 2A and 2B show two views of the mounting plate in an initial position; 30 Figs. 3A and 3B show two views of the mounting plate in a displacement position; Fig. 4 shows a sectional detailed view of the eccentric of the mounting plate of Fig. 1, and Fig. 5 shows a perspective view of the mounting plate with a mounted hinge arm. 5620116 1 (GHMatters) P84497.AU TERUNI -4 Detailed Description A mounting plate 1 comprises a plate-like bottom part 2, to which an upper part 3 can be fixed which is also substantially plate-like. In order to enable the displacement of 5 the upper part 3 relative to the bottom part 2, an eccentric 4 is provided which comprises a pin 5 spaced from a rotational axis of the eccentric 4, which pin engages in an opening 6 in a middle web 20 of the bottom part 2. The eccentric 4 is held with a disk-like section in a recess 7 of the upper part 3. 10 The bottom part 2 and the upper part 3 can be made of metal, preferably of a bent metal sheet, and also of plastic. It is also possible to provide an integral arrangement, in which the bottom part is bent beneath the upper part. The bottom part 2 comprises a middle web 20 in which two mutually spaced openings 15 21 are provided. Screws or other fixing means can be inserted in said openings in order to fix the bottom part 2 to a furniture body. A lever 22 and 23 is arranged on each longitudinal side of the middle web 20, which lever is guided to a bracket section 28, to which the upper part 3 is fastened via 20 fastening means 8. The lever 22 is connected via a first joint 24 with the middle web 20 and via a second joint 25 with the bracket section 28. The lever 23 is connected with a first joint 26 with the middle web 20 and with a second joint 27 with the bracket section 28. The joints 24, 25, 26 and 27 are formed by flexible material sections, with the levers 22 and 23 and the joints 24 to 27 being arranged in an 25 integral manner with the bottom part 2. The joints 24 to 27 can be easier flexible in relation to the adjacent regions in that the cross section is reduced. A parallelogram guide can thus be provided during a movement of the bracket section 28 relative to the middle web 20 by the levers 22 and 23, which guide ensures a precise and play free alignment of the bracket section 28 and thus the upper part 3 relative to the 30 middle web 20. The bracket section 28 and the levers 22 and 23 encompass the middle web 20 in a U shaped manner, with a U-shaped gap 29 being formed between the levers 22 and 23 and the middle web 20, which gap has a width of between 2 mm and 10 mm for 35 example and thus permits a relative motion between the middle web 20 and the encompassing levers 22 and 23. 5620116 1 (GHMatters) P84497.AU TERUNI -5 Two mutually spaced fastening means 8 are provided on the bracket section 28 which can be arranged as rivets, screws, spot welds, etc in order to fasten the upper part 3. By arranging two mutually spaced fastening means 8 it is prevented that the upper part 3 rotates relative to the bracket section 28. This can also be achieved by an 5 interlocking fit between upper part 3 and bracket section 28 and a rivet. A web 9 is arranged on the bottom part 2 on the side opposite of the eccentric 4, which web is guided in an elongated hole 10 on the upper part 3, so that a guide is provided. It is also possible to provide further or other guides between the bottom part 10 2 and the upper part 3, e.g. by means of a pin which is guided in an elongated hole. Figs. 2A and 2B show an initial position of the mounting plate 1 in which the upper part 3 is mounted on the bottom part 2, with a middle longitudinal axis 11 of the upper part 3 being in alignment with a longitudinal axis of the bottom part 2, and the web 20 15 and the levers 22 are arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis 11. In Figs. 3A and 3B, the mounting plate 1 is shown in a displaced position, in which the upper part 3 was moved relative to the bottom part 2. The middle web 20 which is fixedly connected with the furniture body comprises a middle longitudinal axis 12 20 which is now arranged at a distance from the middle longitudinal axis 11 of the upper part 3. The offset H represents the displacement path. The eccentric 4 is twisted for displacement, so that the pin 5 and an eccentric disk cause a forced movement in the recess 7 between upper part 3 and bottom part 2, with the upper part 3 being guided along a parallelogram guide. This parallelogram guide is formed by the levers 22 and 25 23, which each comprise a joint 24 and 26 on the side facing the middle web 20 and comprise two joints 25 and 27 on the side facing the bracket section 28 and thus the upper part 3. As a result of the parallelogram guide, the upper part 3 remains aligned with the longitudinal axis 11 parallel to the longitudinal axis 12 of the bottom part 2. The upper part 3 is thus not twisted, but is only displaced transversally to the 30 longitudinal axis 12, with a displacement in the direction of the longitudinal axis 11 being negligible as a result of the small displacement path in relation to the lever length. By displacing the upper part 3 relative to the bottom part 2, the web 9 is displaced in 35 the elongated hole 10 of the upper part 3, by which a guide is also provided on the side facing away from the eccentric 4. 5620116 1 (GHMatters) P84497.AU TERUNI -6 Fig. 4 shows the region of the eccentric 4 in a sectional view. The eccentric 4 comprises an eccentric head 41 which comprises a recess for the engagement of a tool such as a screwdriver and which protrudes beyond the upper part. An eccentric disk 40 is provided beneath the eccentric head 41 which is accommodated in the recess 7 5 of the upper part 3. A pin 5 is formed on the eccentric disk 40 which is inserted into the opening 6 in the bottom part 2 and is rotatably held there. A rotational axis 43 of the pin 5 is arranged to be spaced from a rotational axis 42 of the eccentric head 41, so that a displacement of the upper part 3 relative to the bottom part 2 occurs when eccentric 4 is rotated. 10 Fig. 5 shows the mounting plate 1 in a typical installation position, in which a hinge part 30 is fixed to the upper part 3. The hinge part 30 is connected via a lever mechanism with a hinge cup 31 which can be fixed to a swivelable furniture part such as a flap. The eccentric 4 is arranged on an end section of the upper part 3 at a 15 distance from the hinge part 30, so that a displacement of the upper part 3 can also occur in the mounted hinge part 30. An eccentric 4 is provided in the illustrated embodiment as a displacement means, especially a constant-diameter eccentric. It is naturally also possible to provide other 20 displacement means in order to move the upper part 3 relative to the bottom part 2. For example, a rotatable disk with a spiral-shaped profiling can be provided for the displacement of the upper part 3 relative to the bottom part 2, which profiling is in engagement with a guide element. 25 Furthermore, other guides can be provided between the upper part 3 and the bottom part 2 instead of the web 9 and the oblong hole 10. The joints arranged in this embodiment as flexural joints can also be arranged for example as articulated rivet connections between the multi-element parts such as 30 bracket section 28, levers 22, 23 and middle web 20.
