Description

WO 2009/026884 PCT/DE2008/001339 Description: "Device for anchoring an installation cabinet in an opening in a wall shell" 5 The invention relates to a device for anchoring an installation cabinet, in particular a meter and/or distributor cabinet, in an opening in a wall shell, with the cabinet which is recessed in the opening 10 resting against the front face of the wall shell at the edge of the opening by way of a stop, having at least one anchoring element which can be pivoted to a position in which it engages behind the wall shell at the edge of the opening and clamps the cabinet between 15 the stop and the anchoring element by a drive and clamping mechanism which is accessible from the front face of the cabinet. Anchoring devices of this type, which are known through 20 use, have an anchoring element which is fixed to the installation cabinet and is in the form of an angled lever and engages behind the right-hand or left-hand edge of the opening in order to clamp the cabinet. The anchoring element can be pivoted by a screw which forms 25 the drive mechanism and is also moved in a translatory manner in a guide and firmly clamps a flange of the cabinet, which forms the stop, against the wall shell. The invention is based on the object of providing a 30 device of the type mentioned in the introduction which better meets the requirements which are placed on the fixing means of the installation cabinet. According to the invention, this object is achieved in 35 that the anchoring element is intended to engage behind the wall shell at a horizontal edge of the opening.
WO 2009/026884 - 2 - PCT/DE2008/001339 The cabinet can advantageously be fixed, for example directly, to a side edge of a multiple-shell wall which adjoins a solid wall by way of the side edge. Furthermore, the device according to the invention 5 makes it possible to fix a plurality of installation cabinets next to one another in a single wide opening in a wall shell. The available space can therefore be utilized more effectively. 10 In one refinement of the invention, the anchoring element is intended to selectively engage behind the wall shell at the horizontal edge or a vertical edge of the opening. Therefore, the anchoring can be flexibly matched to the physical conditions of the wall. 15 The anchoring device can be designed in such a way that the anchoring element can be aligned and correspondingly firmly clamped in order to engage behind the horizontal or the vertical face. 20 In an alternative embodiment, in addition to the anchoring element which is intended to engage behind the horizontal edge of the wall shell, a further anchoring element is intended to engage behind a vertical edge. Accordingly, two anchoring devices can 25 be provided in a pair or a single anchoring device which is provided with two anchoring elements can be provided. In this case, only the respectively required anchoring element is used. 30 In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the anchoring element and the drive mechanism are combined to form a unit which is separate from the cabinet and is described in DE 10 2007 016 685.2 which is expressly incorporated here. 35 In order to accommodate the unit, a seat is expediently provided on the cabinet, preferably on the outside of the cabinet.
WO 2009/026884 - 3 - PCT/DE2008/001339 In a further refinement of the invention, two seats, which are preferably arranged such that they are rotated through 900 in relation to one another, are provided, one seat preferably being arranged at the 5 horizontal edge and the other seat preferably being arranged at the vertical edge. In a particularly preferred refinement of the invention, the seat is arranged in a corner of the 10 cabinet and is preferably designed to accommodate the unit in two positions which are rotated through 90* in relation to one another. The mating holder is expediently formed by a base of 15 the seat or of the -seats which is parallel to the cabinet base. The force exerted by the anchoring element on the rear face of the wall shell behind which the anchoring element engages generates a mating force on the base of the seat. 20 In one refinement of the invention, the seat has a mount which supports the unit in the direction perpendicular to the mating holder. The mount can be formed by a crosspiece or a wall with openings for the 25 anchoring element. In a further refinement of the invention, the unit and/or the seat have/has a means, preferably a releasable detent, for fixing the unit to the 30 installation cabinet. The unit can expediently be inserted into the seat from the front face of the cabinet. The alignment of the unit can still be selected or changed even if the 35 installation cabinet has already been inserted into the wall shell opening.
WO 2009/026884 - 4 - PCT/DE2008/001339 The invention will be explained in greater detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments and the accompanying drawings which relate to said exemplary embodiments and in which: 5 fig. 1 schematically shows two distributor cabinets which are recessed in a wall shell of a double-shell wall and have anchoring devices according to the 10 invention, fig. 2 shows an isometric illustration of a distributor cabinet which is intended to provide anchoring according to the invention, 15 fig. 3 shows an isometric illustration of a distributor cabinet according to fig. 2 and a unit of an anchoring device according to the invention, fig. 4 shows an isometric illustration of the 20 unit from fig. 3 inserted into a receptacle in the distributor cabinet, figs 5 and 6 show a plan view of the unit which is inserted into the distributor cabinet, and 25 fig. 7 shows an isometric illustration of a distributor cabinet with two inserted units of the anchoring device. Fig. 1 shows two installation cabinets 1 which are 30 arranged next to one another in an opening 9 in a wall shell, which adjoins a solid wall 11, of a double-shell wall comprising gypsum plasterboard 10. Each cabinet 1 is fixed to the wall shell by four anchoring devices, the anchoring elements 3 of these anchoring devices 35 engaging behind the gypsum plasterboards 10, at the upper and lower faces of said cabinets. The left-hand cabinet is fixed directly next to the solid wall 11.
WO 2009/026884 - 5 - PCT/DE2008/001339 Fig. 2 illustrates a distributor cabinet with a flange 2, which forms a stop, and two insertion spaces 5 for a unit 4. The insertion spaces 5 have a base 6, which forms a mating holder and extends parallel to the base 5 of the installation cabinet 1, and walls 7 which are provided with openings 8 parallel to the cabinet wall. The unit 4 has an anchoring element 3 and a drive mechanism with a screw 12 with which the anchoring 10 element 3 can be pivoted. As shown in figs 3 and 4, the unit 4 is inserted into the insertion space 5 from the front face of the cabinet 1. Said unit is fixed to the cabinet 1 by a releasable detent (not shown here) which can be arranged on the unit 4 or in the insertion space 15 and engages in a corresponding recess on the respective other part. The anchoring element 3 can be pivoted out through the opening 8 in the side walls 7 of the insertion space 5 by rotating the screw 12. 20 Figs 5 to 7 show that the unit 4 can be selectively inserted into the insertion space 5 in two positions which are perpendicular in relation to one another. In the position shown in fig. 5, the anchoring element 3 on the right-hand side of the cabinet 1 is pivoted in 25 order to engage behind the vertical edge of a wall shell opening 9; in the arrangement shown in fig. 6, said anchoring element is pivoted upward and can engage behind the horizontal edge. In fig. 7, the upper face of an installation cabinet 1 30 is illustrated with a unit 4 which is aligned in relation to the left-hand vertical edge and a unit 4 which is aligned in relation to the upper horizontal edge, said units having anchoring elements 3 which are correspondingly pivoted out. 35 In order to fix the cabinet 1 according to fig. 1, the units 4 would be inserted into the cabinet 1 in the manner illustrated in fig. 6 or inserted into the WO 2009/026884 - 6 - PCT/DE2008/001339 cabinet 1 like the unit 4 which is shown in fig. 7 and is aligned toward the upper edge.
