PATENTS ACT 1990 COMPLTED SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT MODIFIED POLYMER FOR ROAD The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: SPECIFICATION (,i o Relevant Technical Field Z This utility model involves the modified polymer which is using the waste tyres, waste plastic or special inorganic dust to modify the matrix polymer in order to get the low cost and high performance modified polymer which is widely used in road pavement construction.
Technical Background At present, most polymer road is paved by matrix polymer and cobble; a little part of the road is paved by cobble and modified polymer which is added SBS modifier. The former need more material, cost more, has low tolerance of temperature, easy to crack, high noisy and low anti-slide. The latter is improved in the tolerance of temperature and anti-crack, but the cost is high and the aspects of noisy and anti-slide are not improved obviously.
Contents of Innovation This innovation uses the waste tyres, waste plastic which is abandoned by people and special inorganic mineral dust to react with matrix polymer and aromatic hydrocarbon under high temperature (160-200 in order to get the new type of modified polymer. If use this type of polymer for the road pavement construction, the road will have high tolerance of temperature anti-crack, anti-slide and the lifetime of the road will be several times than the normal one. The noisy of the vehicle will be lower and the abrasion of the road will be less. The cost of pavement is less than any other polymer roads.
The technical scheme which solves the problems in this new utility model is: 1 break the waste rubber to 20--60 mesh rubber powder, break the waste plastic the polyethylene or aromatic hydrocarbon of which the melting-point is below 150C).(break the inorganic mineral dust to 80-100 mesh mineral powder).
C 2) add the rubber powder, plastic powder, inorganic mineral powder O and aromatic hydrocarbon cross-linking agent in special percentage to matrix polymer, after 45-60 minutes fully reaction, we can get the new modified polymer products. This products can be mixed with cobble to pave the road.
The effect of this utility model is fully used the waste rubber and plastic which is abandoned by people to react with the matrix polymer. The new modified polymer from this model has high performance, low cost, long lifetime and C, can be used widely in the road pavement construction. Not only use the useful resources, but also change the waste to material and protect the environment which human live in.
Reference Figure of Specification The further specification of this utility model will be given with the figure as follows: Matrix polymer----heat 160-200C add in cross-linking agent------ -heat (160--200 C stirring------add in rubber powder and plastic powder------ -heat( 160-200"C )stirring for 40-60 new modified polymers END
