COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT \o r, r, t\ r, r, Invention Title: Name of Applicant: Actual Inventor: Address for service: Quick Take Off Work Trousers Confezioni Virginio Caronni S.r.I.
Vico Eros Caronni WRAY ASSOCIATES Level 4, The Quadrant 1 William Street Perth, WA 6000 Attorney code: WR The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me:- 2 cBS-06029 QUICK TAKE OFF WORK TROUSERS The present invention relates to quick take off work trousers having considerable utility and handiness features.
Background In the field of work clothes one of the essential features required for the D0 articles is obviously practicality, that however may assume different characteristics according to the specific job where the garment is to be used.
In view of this, there are many fields where the quickness by which the article is put on or taken off is an essential or sometimes even vital requirement.
This is for instance the case of the emergency squads for accidents, fires, attacks, disasters, escapes and leakages of liquid, gaseous or solid harmful substances, radioactive materials and so forth.
A particularly critical article in this respect is the trousers, that should be put on or taken off quickly but at the same time must be provided with a strong and reliable closure, such a requirement being in any case useful for every working 0 activity.
Disclosure of the Invention This problem is brilliantly solved by the work trousers of the present invention, through the combination of a so-called press stud with a tongue hook sliding in an eyelet applied at a short mutual distance on the waist of the trousers.
Accordingly, according to a first aspect of the invention there is provided quick take off work trousers, comprising a combination of a press stud with a tongue hook sliding in an eyelet, applied at a short mutual distance on the waist of the trousers, allowing an immediate snap opening of the fly of the trousers.
While the combination of these two elements warrants a reliable and efficient closure of the trousers, on the other hand it allows with a single quick snap opening of the press stud, the contemporaneous release of the hook from the eyelet and the immediate take off of the trousers in any emergency situation, this very quick action requiring use of one hand only.
3 0 According to a second aspect of the invention there is provided a quick N closure for work trousers according to the first aspect of the invention, comprising a press stud consisting of a male member applied to the rear fly strip and a female member applied to the front fly strip, as well as a tongue hook loosely applied on the N 5 inside of said front strip and a corresponding through eyelet fixed on said rear strip, the tongue of said hook being adapted to slide in said eyelet.
Preferably, the snap release of the female member from the male member of 0 the press stud, when the trousers must be taken off causes the hook tongue to 0 slide automatically out from the through eyelet whit consequent immediate opening 0 0 of the fly of the trousers.
N A third aspect of the invention relates to use of the closure according to the second aspect of the invention, to take off quickly work trousers.
Brief Description of the Drawings The invention will be better understood by reference to the following description of one specific embodiment thereof as shown in the accompanying drawings in which: Fig.1 is an external view of the front portion of the waist of trousers according to the embodiment; Fig.2 is a close view of elements of the embodiment at the initial stage of 0 opening the closure; and Fig.3 is another view of the same elements of Fig.2 at the end of the opening stage.
Best Mode(s) for Carrying Out the Invention With reference now to the above listed figures of the drawings, the work trousers of the embodiment, in the portion of the waist C above the fly strips to be closed by the usual zip Z, have the closure comprising the press stud with the male member M fixed to the rear strip and female member F fixed to the front strip, thus being the only visible element from outside when the fly is closed, as well as a tongue hook L, loosely arranged inside the front fly strip, and a corresponding through eyelet P fixed on the rear fly strip.
When the trousers are worn, the press stud is closed with the female member F engaged on the male member M and the tongue hook L threaded into the through eyelet P. In order to take off the trousers, it is sufficient to pull forward the front fly 4 strip; the female member F is snap released from the male member M and at the C same time the tongue hook L slides out automatically from the through eyelet P, since the hook can swing around its application point on the fly strip in view of its S loose arrangement, so that with a single quick movement the fly is being opened and c 5 the trousers are ready to be quickly taken off.
From the preceding description it is therefore clear that the work trousers according to the present invention fully attain the intended objects, as defined in the appended claims.
Throughout the specification, unless the context requires otherwise, the word C 0 "comprise" or variations such as "comprises" or "comprising", will be understood to C imply the inclusion of a stated integer or group of integers but not the exclusion of any other integer or group of integers.
