(02) 9777 1111 (02) 9241 4666 Invention Title: LIGHTNING-PROTECTION LIGHTNING-PROOF FILM METHOD AND DEVICE OF The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me/us:- File: 50654AUP00 500898928_1 .DOC/5844 LIGHTNING-PROTECTION METHOD AND DEVICE OF LIGHTNING-PROOF FILM FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a lightning-proof film, in particular a lightning-protection method and device of lightning-proof film.
BACKGROUND ART The lightning-proof technology has been known for about three centuries.
In 1750s', Franklin invented a traditional lightning rod which was a conductor rod connected to the ground and higher than the protected constructions. When thunder bolt takes place, the electric field intensity of the top of the lightning rod is up to the value on which lightning can penetrate air so that the lightning rod is stroke firstly to protect the constructions from lightning surge.
Today, more and more microelectronic equipments used in buildings are damaged by the electromagnetic radiation produced by the lightning rod guiding lightning into the ground, so that the lightning rod cannot protect modem information equipments and new lightning-proof technologies are absolutely necessary. In 1995, China patent CN 1049531C of the present inventor disclosed a fire-new lightning-proof technology which can avoid direct lightning striking on the protected object. The said lightning-proof technology is that it is suitable for not only the unmoving targets on the earth but also the moving targets on the earth, sea and air which can be protected from lightning. In the case of objects on the ground, the product of the invention is a plasma lightning ball which can make induced charges on the protected object disappear and more specially counteract the inductive charges on the protected object by transmitting the charges with polarity reversed to the inductive charges to the protected object.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is to provide a simple lightning-protection method and device of lightning-proof film, which can prevent lightning striking caused by the inductive charges on protected substance, thereby preventing the damage of the substance.
In order to achieve the object, a method according to the invention comprises following steps: A. The surface of the conductor of the protected object is covered with a layer of conductive film; B. The conductive film and the conductive surface are electric insulated from each other so as to form two electrodes of a capacitor respectively; C. When the conductive film is on the outer surface of the conductor, the charges of which the polarity is reversed to the inductive charge of lightning on the surface of the conductor are added to the conductive film; D. When the conductive film is on the inner surface of the conductor, the charges of which the polarity is the same as the inductive charges of lightning on the surface of the conductor are added to the conductive film; Therefore, there are charges with the same polarity as the precursor charges of lightning on the conductive film or the surface of conductor along the direction from thundercloud to the ground, which can prevent lightning from hitting the conductive film or the conductor of the protected object.
The conductive film and the surface of the conductor of the protected object are electric insulated from each other by means of an air layer or a solid insulating film.
The charge voltage added to the conductive film is equal to or greater than the electric potential resulting from lightning around the spacer of the conductive film, and the electric potential of the surface of the conductor is zero.
The present invention further provides a lightning-protection device of lightning-proof film comprising a conductive film which covers the surface of the conductor of the protected object, a protecting film which covers the outside of the conductive film, an electric insulating film arranged between the conductive film and the surface of the conductor of the protected object, and an intellectualized CPU which is electrically connected to the conductive film.
The said intellectualized CPU comprises a lightning stroke danger monitor for detecting lightning, measuring the polarity of lightning and analyzing the information of lightning, a high tension power source for transmitting charges to the conductive film and a control unit for controlling the high tension power source to transmit charges.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE REFERENCE NUMBERS Conductor 11; conductive film 21; protecting film 22; insulating film 23; intellectualized CPU 24; conductive film 25; air layer 26 BEST MODES OF CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The present invention provides a lightning-protection method and device of lightning-proof film, wherein the method according to the invention comprises following steps: A. The surface of the conductor of the protected object is covered with a layer of conductive film; B. The conductive film and the conductive surface are electric insulated from each other so as to form two electrodes of a capacitor respectively; C. When the conductive film is on the outer surface of the conductor, the charges of which the polarity is reversed to the inductive charges of lightning on the surface of the conductor are added to the conductive film; D. When the conductive film is on the inner surface of the conductor, the charges of which the polarity is the same as the inductive charges of lightning on the surface of the conductor are added to the conductive film; Therefore, there are charges with the same polarity as the precursor charge of lightning on the conductive film or the surface of conductor along the direction from thundercloud to ground, which can prevent lightning from hitting the conductive film or the conductor of the protected object.
The conductive film and the surface of the conductor of the protected object are electric insulated from each other by means of an air layer or a solid insulating film.
The charge voltage added to the conductive film is equal to or greater than the electric potential resulting from lightning around the spacer of the conductive film, and the electric potential of the surface of the conductor is zero.. If the air electric field intensity of lightning on the surface of the conductor of the protected object is E and the thickness of the electric insulating layer between the conductive film and the conductor is d, the said electric potential around the spacer of the conductive film is V wherein: V=Ed. For example, if: d=O.1mm, E=3 X 6 V/m, so: V=Ed=300V.
The present invention further provides a lightning-protection proof device of lightning-proof film according to the foresaid method. Figure 1 is a schematic view of the first embodiment of the device of the invention.

Therefore, when the lightning protection is in operation, the said intellectualized CPU 24 detects the danger of lightning strike firstly by means of the lightning stroke danger monitor 241. If the lightning strike is coming, the lightning stroke danger monitor 241 measures the polarity of the lightning and analyzes the information of lightning. Then the control unit 243 controls the high tension power source 242 to transmit charge with suitable polarity and voltage (the polarity and voltage are determined by foresaid method) to the conductive film, which can protect the object from lightning.
