Patents Act 1990 S8JUN 2007 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT Number 2005100813 In the name of Vicki Haraki Sales AQUATIC SAFTEY GLOVE The following statement is a full description of this innovation: AQUATIC SAFTEY GLOVE The Aquatic Safety Glove has been designed to assist in the rescue of people who get into difficulties in water swimming, fishing or boating) using various alarms embedded into or attached to the glove. The glove can have webbing between the fingers as shown in Fig.
which also assists the wearer to swim more efficiently. A version of the glove, which has the glove fingertips removed, is designed to be used by fishermen (see Fig The glove is made of material that is suitable for water like silicon, rubber, plastic or neoprene. The strap, shown in Fig. 1-4, holds the glove firmly onto the hand and has the function of housing the first alarm device, like a low profile safety whistle that can be used in water as shown in Fig. 1-4. Air vents on the glove are shown in Fig.6a.
The first safety device could also be a visible alarm, like a flashing LED light as shown in Fig. 6b, a luminescent safety light ("glow in the dark") as shown in Fig. 6c, or an electronic device like a miniature detachable Personal Locator Beacon (PLBs) as shown in Fig.6d.
The first safety device is characterized by the fact that it must be triggered by the wearer of the glove.
The second safety device, like a reflector as shown in Fig I, attached or embedded into the glove is a passive device and does not need to be triggered by the user.

1. A webbed glove suitable for use in water wherein lights and/or alarms are N_ included in the glove. 0 O
2. A webbed glove as defined in claim 1 wherein the glove is made from silicon rubber.
3. A webbed glove as defined in claim 2 wherein the lights and/or alarms are Cc implanted in the silicon rubber.
