Abstract

The invention relates to a method for eliminating oil and fat or pollutants containing oil and fat from bodies of water and from the ground. According to said method, a surfactant mixture is sprayed onto the surface of the water or onto the ground, said mixture consisting of approximately 11 parts by weight of isotridecanol, ethoxylated with 9 ethoxy groups, approximately 4 parts by weight of sodium salt of sulphuric acid monoesters, approximately 2 parts by weight of essential oil of lime, lemon and/or orange and approximately 82 parts by weight of water, in addition to the bacterial suspension Microbe-Lift/Hog in a volumetric ratio of approximately 1:3.
