Abstract
The transponder has an electronic circuit and an antenna device. The antenna device has at least two oscillator circuits that are driven in common, and which are electrically isolated from each other. The transponder has a resonant frequency that depends on the number of oscillator circuits and on the resonant frequencies that the oscillator circuits would have individually if they were decoupled from each other, and is smaller than the smallest of these resonant frequencies. Independent claims are included for a portable data carrier for storing and/or processing data; and for a method of contactlessly transmitting data using a transponder.
