The invention concerns a security document comprising at least one security characteristic peculiar and/or internal to the document, which is characterized in that it comprises at least one contact-free integrated microcircuit (121), called chip, with a communication interface with antenna (122), which is connected to at least a microcircuit for measuring said characteristic (123), said characteristic being present in the memory of the chip and said measuring microcircuit being integrated in the document. The invention also concerns the method for identifying the document.
