Abstract

The invention relates to a chip card (1) with at least one hole (4) that extends perpendicularly to the main surface thereof and around which one antenna coil (3) is integrated in the chip card (1). A pin (5) with for example a battery-operated power/transmitter coil can be inserted in the hole (4) in the chip card (1) so as to operate the contactless transponder system, thereby facilitating an intimate inductive coupling and an effective power supply of the chip card (1).
