In case of a fire, fire protection sleeves of this type seal with intumescing fire protection compounds fire- and smoke-tight the annular space between the wall and a pipeline passing through it. For various pipelines an assortment of fire protection sleeves of various lengths and inside diameters are required.
According to DE 198 52 120 a sheet metal jacket perforated with regular openings can be bent around the pipeline with little effort. It can be mounted on a wall by means of loosely allocated, separate angled wall hooks, that extend longitudinally on the outside and engage the face of the fire protection sleeve radially inwards. Each fire protection sleeve must have wall hooks of this type manufactured to suit their lengths.
According to DE 441 12 20 a fire protection sleeve has a sheet metal jacket that can be bent around the circumference of the pipeline and closed by the user on the spot, in the radial interior of which circumferentially distributed intumescing fire protection compound and inflated graphite are provided. This fire protection sleeve can be mounted on the wall by means of loosely allocated, separate angled wall hooks, that can be radially outside inserted into eyelets punched into on the sheet metal jacket of the fire protection sleeve. The punching of the eyelets requires a special expensive tool.
The object of the invention is to realise a fire protection sleeve that can be produced in large numbers in a technologically simple manner.
This objective is achieved essentially by the features of the independent claims.
Advantageous developments become apparent from the sub-claims.
A fire protection sleeve basically comprises a jacket part that can be placed circumferentially and closed on a pipeline, having a plurality of openings, on the internal jacket surface of which an intumescing fire protection compound is provided. At least one separate angled wall hook is loosely allocated for the purpose of mounting it on the wall, said angled wall hook being able to be fastened radially outside on the jacket part. The wall hook comprises at least one anchoring means that radially penetrates the opening of the jacket part as well as ends radially outside the pipeline and can be anchored in a self-locking manner in the opening and/or the fire protection compound.
By virtue of the anchoring means of the loosely allocated wall hook that can be anchored in a self-locking manner in an opening of the jacket part and/or the fire protection compound of the fire protection sleeve, it can be fastened in the opening simply by being pressed in, while similar wall hooks can be used for fire protection sleeves of different lengths and consequently have a flexible application as well as can be produced in great numbers with one tool.
in an advantageous manner the jacket part of the fire protection sleeve is made from a sheet metal with pre-perforated openings, like perforated sheet metal or expanded sheet metal, due to which openings are present already in the semifinished product and thus an operation is saved during the final production.
In an advantageous manner the anchoring means, having any cross-section, has at least in one area a diameter, that projects past the inscribed inside diameter of the opening by an expandable zone of, for example, 1.0 mm, by virtue of which the anchoring means becomes self-locking by frictional force after overcoming the deformation work required to elastically expand the opening.
In an advantageous manner the anchoring means has a spike-shaped construction with a pointed end, by virtue of which it can be introduced into the opening.
The anchoring means has advantageously at least one longitudinal region in the middle, that spatially allocated to the opening assumes a stable, energywise favourable self-locking position with regard to the self-locking anchoring, this longitudinal region being adjacent, for example, to radial projections or barbs, due to which a secure fastening of the wall hooks on the jacket part is assured even under vibrating loads.
In an advantageous manner the wall hook has two anchoring means at a distance from one another, ensuring a positionally stable fastening of the wall hook on the jacket part.
Advantageously the anchoring means penetrates the openings provided in the overlapping region, thus closing the jacket part by the anchoring means.
The invention is explained in detail by referring to an advantageous embodiment, by using: Fig.1 a fire protection sleeve, Fig.2 an enlarged detail of Fig.1, Fig.3 a detailed enlargement showing detail Ill in Fig.2.
According to Fig.1 a fire protection sleeve 1, in the radial interior of which a circumferentially distributed intumescing fire protection compound 2 is provided, has a jacket part 4 from extruded metal that is bent around the circumference of a pipeline 3 as well as is closed by means of an overlapping section X and three angled wall brackets 5, with which the jacket part 4 is mounted via screws on a wall 6. The wall brackets 5 are fastened radially on the outside of the jacket part 4, by one opening 7 each of the jacket part 4 being anchored with six anchoring means 8 radially protruding in a self-locking manner in an opening 7, while the anchoring means 8 terminate radially outside the pipeline 3. At the same time the wall bracket 5 allocated to the overlapping region Xjoins both ends of the circumferentially closed jacket part 4.
4 According to Figs.2 and 3 the spike-shaped, pointed as well as hook-shaped anchoring means 8 of a wall bracket 5 has a diameter U in one of its areas, said diameter projecting past the originally inscribed inside diameter I of the opening 7 by an elastically expandable zone Z that is shown shaded. The anchoring means 8 has a longitudinal region L in the middle that is adjacent to the radial projection 9, said longitudinal region spatially allocated to the opening 7 in the self-locking position illustrated.

Claims (9)

1. A fire protection sleeve with a jacket part that can be placed circumferentially and closed on a pipeline, having a plurality of openings, on the internal jacket surface of which an intumescing fire protection compound is provided, and with at least one separate angled wall hook loosely allocated for the purpose of mounting it on the wall, said angled wall hook being able to be fastened radially outside on the jacket part, characterised in that the wall hook forms at least one anchoring means that radially penetrates at least one opening of the jacket part as well as ends radially outside the pipeline and can be anchored in a self-locking manner in the opening and/or the fire protection compound.
2. A fire protection sleeve according to claim 1, characterised in that the jacket part is made from a sheet metal with pre-perforated openings.
3. A fire protection sleeve according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the anchoring means has a diameter U in one of its areas, said diameter projecting past an originally inscribed inside diameter I of the opening by an elastically expandable zone Z.
4. A fire protection sleeve according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the anchoring means has a spike-shaped construction with a pointed end.
A fire protection sleeve according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the anchoring means has a hook-shaped construction.

A fire protection sleeve according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the anchoring means has at least one longitudinal region L in the middle, that spatially allocated to the opening assumes a stable, energywise favourable self-locking position with regard to the self- locking anchoring.
7. A fire protection sleeve according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the wall hook has two anchoring means at a distance from one another.
8. A fire protection sleeve according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the anchoring means penetrates openings provided in the overlapping region X.
