Abstract

A computer for synchronizing a system consisting of a micro-ejection unit (1) and a pump (2) connected by a liquid line (3) actively defines a sample volume and releases the defined sample volume, and tracks a part of the pump carrying the liquid by a value depending on the sample volume released by the micro-ejection unit to avoid high pressure differences in the micro-ejection unit, liquid line and pump. Independent claims are also included for: the system for receiving and/or releasing liquid samples; and a process for synchronizing a system for receiving and/or releasing liquid samples using the computer. Preferred Features: The micro-ejection unit comprises an end piece (5) as micro-ejection pump or a piezo-micro-pump or comprises an end piece as disposal pipette tip, an impulse generator and a liquid line. The pump is a piston pump consisting of a cylinder (11), a piston (12) and a drive (13).
