Abstract
The aim of the invention is to provide a tissue and/or tissue-like material with a high degree of absorbency which can be produced on conventional tissue manufacturing machines. To this end, the invention provides a material comprising two outer plies and at least one inner ply, which is arranged between the outer plies and which has a higher absorbency factor for water than the outer plies, whereby the absorbency factor of the inner ply is equal to at least 950 %.
