Abstract

In order to guide medical instruments in a precise and reproducible manner, the invention proposes a device of simple design for controlling three-dimensional structures, in particular for inserting puncture needles or operation probes. The device comprises at least one base plate (1), base holders (2) which can be detachably mounted in any position on the base plate (1), holder rods (3, 4) secured in a hinged manner on the base holders (2), and a holding and aiming arrangement (10) secured to the holder rods (3, 4) for a medical instrument (8). According to the invention, two pivot shafts (6) are mounted at an angle relative to each other on the holding and aiming arrangement (10) and are disposed in bearing elements (5) so as to be alternately pivotable and/or displaceable.
