Abstract
The shaped sealing body for sealing the end of a thermally shrunk shrouding, for longitudinal items, has a sealing section (2,3) of two blade bodies (3) and a centre section (2). The blade bodies (3) have a C-shaped cross-section, against each other, forming a centre section (2) with their rear sides. The ends of the blade bodies (3) are angled inwards. At least one angled gap is formed at the centre section (2) between the C-shaped bodies (3), extending to a clamping groove (13) at the centre. At least one thermally conductive body (5,6) is fixed to the clamping groove (13), over the length of the shaped sealing body (1), shaped in a taper from the outer circumference of the shaping body (1) to the centre of the centre piece (2). At the clamping groove (13), the thermally conductive body (5,6) has an extension (17,18) to match the cross-section of the clamping groove (13). The sealing section (2,3) is of a hot melt plastics adhesive, and pref. polyamide. The thermally conductive body (5,6) is of metal, and pref. aluminium.
