Abstract

The invention relates to a detachable connecting element, assuming the static connecting function, for two construction frame members, in particular an inner and outer mullion or transom of a mullion/transom facade, which each have a mutually facing groove, undercut on both sides and running in the profile longitudinal direction, for positive reception of in each case one end of the connecting element. To obtain thermal separation and nondestructive uncoupling, according to the invention the connecting element is composed of plastic and has, at one end, spring tongues which are equipped with locking noses and project, in the coupled position, beyond the outer contour of the body but lie, in the uncoupled position, within the outer contour of the body, the spring tongues being retained, in their uncoupled position, by a counterspring engaging automatically behind the free end of the spring tongue. <IMAGE>
