Abstract

The partition assembly has a pedestal (6), by which a wall and/or door element rest on a floor (4). The pedestal (6) possesses an adjusting part (15), by which the wall element (1) is vertically adjustable relative to the floor (1). The adjusting part (15) is provided at a base member (7, 7', 10) of the pedestal (6). Using the adjusting part (15), the wall element (1) can be adjusted simply in relation to the floor (4). The partition assembly furthermore has a ceiling connection with a terminal part (30, 30') which engages in the vertical direction of the wall element (1) with play (36) in a groove (32, 32') at the upper edge (34) of the wall element (1).
