Abstract

The invention relates to an electrohydraulic crossing barrier drive with an electric motor (11) which drives an hydraulic pump (7) and with a double-acting hydraulic cylinder (6) which is acted on by the hydraulic liquid and whose piston rod (5) drives, by means of a crank drive (4), a shaft (3) which bears the crossing barrier pole (2), the respectively desired angular speed of the swivel movement of the crossing barrier pole (2) being controllable. In order to provide a technically simple and thus economical crossing barrier drive which is not only maintenance-free but whose crossing barrier pole movement also adapts to the changing environmental influences and permits diagnoses relating to the respective states of the crossing barrier drive, the swivel movement of the crossing barrier pole (2) can be controlled by changing the speed of revolution of the electric motor (11) by means of a computer (13) in whose memory values are correspondingly stored in table form for changing the angular speed of a plurality of characteristic curves, the reference characteristic curve, predetermined in each case by means of a value sequence, being selected by sensors (14, 16). <IMAGE>
