Abstract

A receiver for radio broadcasts is proposed which has an analysis circuit for digitally transmitted traffic information. The radio receiver has a memory with road-oriented segments which are subdivided into route segments. For reception of digital traffic information it is sufficient to specify the road, the route segment, and the direction. On the basis of the arrangement in the memory, it is then possible for the receiver to generate the other information itself. This means that the digital data transmission can take place at a high repetition rate. <IMAGE>
