Variable clamping device for tools, consisting of a holding device to be mounted on a work table and of a tool holder to be detachably connected to the latter and possessing a slotted clamping ring as tool fixture and a fastening attachment extending approximately perpendicularly to the clamping ring axis for connection to at least one compatible fastening device of the holding device, the holding device (2, 3) consisting of a fixing part (2) to be fixed to the table (5) and of a swivelling part (3) connected to the fixing part (2) in articulated manner and capable of lockably swivelling, the swivelling part (3) possessing the fastening device (31, 32) for the tool holder (4). <IMAGE>
