Abstract
The phase-array-antenna system (1) has a wide-band antenna segment (2), where the antenna segment has multiple slit antenna elements (3) which emit linear polarized waves. The antenna element has a structure of a Vivaldi antenna which has a circular free space in a metal surface and a slot outgoing from the free space. An internal surface area of the antenna element is arranged opposite to the slit sides of the antenna element. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an electrical field with temporally varying polarization.
