Abstract
The radiator (1) has a gas permeable plate (4) for closing a mixing chamber (3). A combustion chamber (5) is attached to the gas permeable plate and is limited by a pre-radiator body (6) that consists of bars (7). The bars are provided with a cross section over a large part of the length of the bars, where the contour of the cross section has length-increasing deviations in recesses and/or bulges by a geometrical basic shape on a partial periphery. The radiator is made of silicon carbide, molybdenum silicide or iron-chromium-aluminum present in heating conductor alloy.
