Abstract

The method involves removing a post (4) i.e. high/very high voltage electric post, at the proximity of its base, and reinforcing an existing foundation (2). Support rods (10) e.g. machine head type support rods, are cemented in the reinforced foundation, and a base (16) is fixed on the support rods. A new post (22) is inserted in the base and fixed in the base, where the post (22) is made of concrete, steel and wood and has a cross-section larger than a cross-section of the post (4). Another foundation (8) is formed around the foundation (2), where the foundation is made of concrete.
