Abstract

A support mounting for the ends of bed slats has an elastic construction (1) with sockets (8) at the top end for the slats and with sleeved holes (4) at the bottom for securing the mounting to the bed frame using threaded fasteners. The mounting includes a space (9) into which can be fitted and additional support spring (7). The mounting includes an adjustable top stop (12), e.g. an eccentric selector wheel, for varying the sprung support for the slats. The adjuster has at least two settings and enables the user to vary the spring support along the length of the bed.
